Rachel has officially filed for divorce, and Kyle’s past is catching up with her in the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Meanwhile, Amanda is grappling with how to handle Dorit after their recent confrontation. Although Dorit is open to discussing their issues, Amanda feels that Dorit’s behavior was aggressive, claiming she was “verbally accosted.” The question remains whether they can resolve their differences and whether Amanda is revealing her true self.

Erika and Rachel have quickly struck up a friendship and are left in disbelief as they recount the previous night’s events between Dorit and Amanda. The group was unaware of the anniversary of Amanda’s son’s death, as Amanda rarely shares personal details. Erika and Rachel agree that Amanda’s actions often seem “performative,” as if she’s showcasing her accomplishments. Erika senses something amiss with Amanda, while Rachel humorously compares her to a 1960s flight attendant.
Elsewhere, Kyle and Amanda are out shopping for furniture when Amanda confides in Kyle about feeling like a “shell” after Rachel’s party. Amanda describes her body’s reaction to the situation as that of a physiological threat, and Kyle praises her poise in dealing with Dorit. Amanda feels that Dorit disrespected her and her son by continuing to question her despite learning about the anniversary. She questions Dorit’s behavior, pondering why it was deemed appropriate to “verbally accost someone.” Amanda is now wary of attending dinner parties if she doesn’t feel safe, suggesting she might need to develop a thicker skin.
Meanwhile, Bozoma and her longtime friend Summer join Kyle and Dorit for dinner. Bozoma shares stories about her life in Colorado Springs and her enduring 34-year friendship with Summer. Summer, who is navigating her own messy divorce, finds common ground with Kyle and Dorit, who are facing similar challenges in their personal lives.
Bozoma and her best friend, Summer, meet Kyle and Dorit for dinner. Boz talks about her life in Colorado Springs and how she stuck with Summer for over 34 years. Summer talks about her messy divorce because she knows Kyle and Dorit are in a similar situation.
According to Dorit, Kyle and Mauricio are friends, which might explain why Kyle has yet to file for divorce. Sure, the paparazzi pictures of Mau making out left and right hurt, but divorce is so final. Kyle does share that she felt invisible to Mauricio during the last family trip and wishes for more from him, despite their separation.
Right as Dorit begins talking about Kyle’s (maybe) hope for reconciliation, Mauricio walks over to the table and surprises the group. He pulls up a chair and sits down, only to have Dorit ask him outright if he ever thought about filing. Mauricio says no and Kyle explains that he has made her mad enough a few times to think about it. Boz shares that she “almost attacked” him last summer and she was watching him like a hawk while he was at da club with a girl.
Dorit tells Mauricio that she wants to sit down and “chit chat” with him so she can try and see where PK is coming from. Dorit lets him know that if she says anything that would make a difference with PK, Mau has her permission to get it back to PK. Dorit also asks Mauricio for his phone number right in front of Kyle and states she will “message him at will,” a poke at what happened last year with Kyle and PK’s meme communication. When Mau leaves, Boz understands his charm.
As the dinner wraps up, Dorit gives her side of what happened at Rachel’s dinner with Amanda. After she said she was sorry for asking hard questions, Dorit DID go back to the conversation, mainly because Amanda kept going back to it, as well. Kyle explains that Amanda wants to address this with Dorit and Boz shares the loss of her own baby. For Amanda to talk about this grief seems as though she is “throwing it up in defense,” according to Boz.
No one can seem to figure out Amanda and after Dorit did some searching, she found an article entitled, “Leaving a Cult: How I Learned to Follow My Heart.” In this article, Amanda states that she was in a cult. It is clear that there is so much unknown about this seemingly perfect Money Queen…
The headlines are all over Rachel’s news: she has officially filed for divorce. Rachel is grateful the boys are away at camp, but feels confident in her decision. She explains that it wasn’t just one thing that triggered this, but rather a myriad of issues with her ex. Rachel does not have a prenup and states she does not want to give spousal support, nor does she want to get it.
Kyle and Mauricio are getting a tour from Amanda of their old house. Kyle beats Mau there and she gets a chance to talk to Amanda. Kyle has decided to throw a birthday party for Erika and Dorit, but Amanda is not sure if going to this would be the best move. She is not feeling any better about the Dorit of it all and is unsure how to move forward.
The tour gets underway when Mau arrives and Amanda has completely transformed the home. It is a walk down memory lane for Kyle and she gets overwhelmed by a flood of emotions as she walks around this home that used to be theirs. It’s hard for Kyle to look at her life now versus how things used to be. How could anyone let that old life slip away? A teary Kyle tries to explain where her emotions are coming from, but it doesn’t seem like Mau is truly understanding. Kyle wonders if they didn’t move, would they still be separated today?
Amanda is not quite ready to celebrate Dorit, but alas, she arrives (on time). Kyle talks about the house tour and Amanda chimes in, reminding the world that SHE solely bought the home. Why does Amanda feel it necessary to share that information?! Amanda goes on to say she is not nervous to see Dorit, in fact, she feels kind of empowered, and when Dorit walks in late, Amanda questions what time they were supposed to arrive for dinner.
Rachel grabs Dorit to discuss her filing and she shares that she spent the last year dealing with the logistics of her new life. Filing is merely a detail in the process of Rachel moving forward. Rachel explains that she misses the old version of her ex, but she is okay with this decision.
Meanwhile, Amanda can hardly stand to be around Dorit and heads to the bathroom. Dorit wonders if Amanda is going to “manifest” her absence. While Amanda is still missing from the table, Kyle makes a toast to celebrate the birthday girls.
Dorit takes the opportunity to talk to Amanda upon her return. She explains that she is happy to see Amanda, but wants to clear the air to speak about their issues. Dorit is fine talking about it right then and there, but Amanda is weary. Amanda wants to be able to go to a dinner party without being “verbally accosted,” which of course makes Dorit livid. However, this is how Amanda experienced the situation, so who are we to tell her how to feel? To be continued…
