In the latest episode of Summer House, the arrival of Sabrina, who has captured the interest of Ben, sets the stage for an eventful night. Adding to the excitement, West invites a staggering 96 guests to join the festivities. The evening kicks off with a Vegas-themed party, sparking a passionate make-out session that leaves the group buzzing. However, when Amanda decides to teach West a lesson in respect, her actions are seen as hypocritical by some. Meanwhile, Ciara realizes the need to maintain her distance from West and metaphorically puts him “back in jail.” It’s Amanda’s conduct and side remarks, though, that provoke deeper reflection.
Amanda stirs the pot by informing Sabrina that the entire house suspects Ben is falling for her. This revelation doesn’t sit well with Ben, who is trying to dismiss the gossip. Amanda is puzzled by Ben’s serious demeanor, given his status as “so f*cking single all summer.” She challenges Ben’s reaction, feeling affronted by his indignant response.
The situation grows more complex as Amanda recalls that Ben allegedly made advances towards her during a wedding in Italy, a topic that has even fueled a group chat. Amanda admits to enjoying the attention but acknowledges the awkwardness it creates. She expresses a desire to discuss this with Sabrina face-to-face when she visits the house, as Amanda feels uncomfortable with the current state of affairs.
Amidst the drama, Kyle finds a silver lining in his personal life. With Amanda agreeing to attend couple’s therapy, Kyle feels hopeful about their marriage. His current focus is on enjoying the remaining weekends of summer to the fullest.
Kyle is starting to feel more optimistic about his marriage because Amanda finally agreed to couple’s therapy. Kyle just wants to focus on the last two weekends of summer and have fun.
As some of the crew preps for a night out, a condom falls out of Jesse‘s pants, because ya never know. On the flip side, Ben has decided to stay home and behave. Sabrina is coming the next day and although it has been about six years since he has been in a relationship, she is really getting Ben thinking about it again.
Post bar-hopping, West and Ciara are making nachos, but Jesse calls him out in his confessional claiming West will be looking like Kyle when he finally settles down.
The next morning, Mia shares she had a bad dream that her parents were still alive and it just felt so real to her. Right now, Mia is struggling. She is feeling alone because her boyfriend is traveling more and so she is desperately looking for someone to give her some guidance.
Jesse fills West in on Sabrina. Jesse is amazed that this “rekindling” is moving so fast. This is interesting coming from the guy who fell hard and fast for Lexi in under a minute last summer.
Later, Jesse shares that they will be having a Vegas-style pool party in the backyard. As the boys set up, Bailey chats with Amanda about Carl. Bailey feels like she is gravitating towards him and Amanda can see this duo working.
Sabrina finally arrives in the Hamptons. We learn that Sabrina and Ciara have had a coffee date because they vibed right off the bat, which is unusual for Ciara. Ciara refers to Sabrina as “adorable” and you can totally tell Amanda is mad about this new friendship.
Before another minute goes by, Amanda brings Sabrina inside and apologizes for the comment she made. Amanda claims “it was not my information to share,” which is a weird thing to say. Sabrina brushes it off and makes Amanda promise that they will have fun at the party today.
Carl opens up to Bailey about the current situation with Kyle. He is struggling to tell Kyle how he really feels and realizes that if he drank a bottle of rose and did a line of cocaine, the words would come out easier, but that’s not gonna happen. Carl claims that Kyle can be intimidating and he owes Kyle a lot, but not telling him the truth about his feelings is making their friendship difficult.
While doing her makeup with Ciara and Mia, Amanda states that she feels like everyone hates her. She goes on to say she doesn’t like that she made someone feel a type of way because of her words and actions. I am cringing and realizing that Amanda is forever fishing for compliments. Ciara tells Amanda that she doesn’t realize her magic and that half the things Kyle has is because of her. They rally around Amanda, remind her how special she is, and Ciara tells Amanda that she is stuck with her as a friend. Ooph.
West has invited 96 people to the house and one of them is “hot.” Everyone is making fun of Ben and Sabrina’s rekindling and so the first Vegas-style sign that comes out says, “Ben’s last ride.” As the boys float around in the pool (minus Carl), Kyle talks about how his friendship with Carl has changed.
The one West has had his eyes on plops down on his lap…right next to Ciara. This makes him sweat a bit. So much for all of West’s regrets with Ciara- making out in front of her is not the move. Ciara realizes that West doesn’t owe her anything, but she would NEVER smooch someone in front of him.
Amanda attempts to stop the making out between West and his lady friend and so she plops herself down to try and crash the party. As she walks away, Amanda tells West to look at her butt, which is bizarre. Sabrina tries to also break up the make-out and gets West away from the girl under the guise that Ben has something to talk to him about.
West passes out, but when he comes to, Amanda reminds West that he got too comfortable “on probation” when he made out in front of Ciara. West points out that he has yet to have a conversation with Ciara over the summer, but feels like he “cheated on his wife” by the way they are coming at him.
Kyle doesn’t think it’s fair how hard and fast Amanda is going after West, but Amanda immediately flips outs on Kyle. Kyle tries to tell Amanda that she’s being unreasonable, but she tells West that he ruined the level of respect in the house. (What a hypocrite now knowing what we know!!) After Amanda storms off, West shares that he has avoided hurting Ciara for a while now. West also says that Ciara is not actively flirting with him, so what is he supposed to do?
It is uncomfortable and abnormal for Ciara to be in the presence of an ex like this. It is hard for her because she realizes that West does not see her, literally or figuratively. She refuses to beg for his attention so that he can notice her, and so for that reason, and many more, West is back in jail.
