Eamonn Holmes, a presenter for GB News, recently stepped away from the screen to enjoy a festive retreat with his girlfriend, Katie Alexander. The 66-year-old broadcaster treated Katie to a charming Christmas escape at a holiday cottage in Yorkshire, priced at £270 per night. Onlookers reported to The Sun that the couple arrived at Harrogate’s Rudding Park Hotel in North Yorkshire on Boxing Day. Katie, a 43-year-old marriage counselor, was in high spirits, sporting a red jumper paired with a red and white striped shirt and jeans.

Ever supportive, Katie was seen assisting Eamonn, who deals with chronic back pain, as he exited the car. The couple was not alone on this getaway; they were accompanied by Katie’s three children and their dog. The lavish Yorkshire resort offers enticing amenities, including a spa, three dining options, a private cinema, and two golf courses, all set within 300 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and woodlands, providing plenty of space for their furry companion.

The resort’s website highlights a variety of accommodation options, with the most premium choice being Gardeners Cottage, which can cost up to £448 per night. This luxurious option includes three double bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms, a private garden, and a hot tub.

This trip is just one of several vacations the couple has enjoyed this year. They also visited Eamonn’s hometown of Belfast, Northern Ireland, following a lavish holiday in Cyprus.

During their Cyprus adventure, Eamonn and Katie, along with her three older children, stayed at a five-star hotel in Paphos. The family was seen returning from a cruise aboard a mega yacht, which featured a buffet lunch, drinks, and a unique glass-bottom aquarium deck.

This comes as Eamonn has yet to finalise his divorce from his estranged wife, Loose Women star Ruth Langsford, with whom he was for 27 years.

The former couple confirmed they were parting ways after being married for 14 years in May 2024, with a shocking statement that prompted Ruth to take time off from her panellist gig on ITV.

While Eamonn has moved on, Ruth is reportedly keen to also find Mr Right, as a source claimed: “She’s looking for someone not grumpy, someone fun who makes her laugh, is really important. Ruth has a great sense of humour, so he’s got to have that sense of humour and fun.”

According to the Mirror, the insider added: “When it comes to dating, she’s not going online – she’s old school.

“It’s through friends, going out and being social. She’s doing it the old way, where you meet someone in a bar or restaurant, or through mates. She’s keeping her eye out.”
