Tiger Woods reportedly gave his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, a heads up that he is dating Vanessa Trump.

The golf superstar called the mother of his two children around late December or early January and the two had an “awkward” but “civil” exchange, the Daily Mail reported Friday.

“It was a pleasant, almost friendly conversation,” an insider told the outlet. “Her response at first was like ‘Seriously? A Trump? For real?.”

The source added that Nordegren, 45, was “more amused than anything. But she really quickly just accepted it.”

The source claimed that Woods, 49, had told his ex-wife about his past girlfriends ever since they divorced in 2010 following a very public and messy cheating scandal. Therefore, Nordegren was reportedly not surprised that her ex was off the market again but more so shocked about “who the girlfriend was.”

However, the insider noted that Nordegren doesn’t “react to things emotionally” so she just “processed the information and wished them well.”

“They’re not the type to give each other their ‘blessing’ per se, but they keep each other in the loop with anyone who is going to spend any amount of time around the kids,” the source, who is reportedly friends with both Woods and Nordegren, added.

The insider pointed out that since the former couple’s two children — Sam, 17, and Charlie, 16 — “like” Trump, 47, there “was really no reason for any drama with Elin.“

The source also confirmed that Woods and the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. had crossed paths at the Benjamin School in Palm Beach, Fla., since Kai Trump, like Woods’ kids, also go there.

“The school really requires parental involvement,” the friend added. “So their paths crossed a lot, they had a lot of people in their circles.”

The insider continued, “It’s a community where they saw each other frequently. So Elin also knew exactly who Vanessa was.”

As for why Woods felt the need to speak to his ex-wife about his romance when it was not that serious yet, the friend said, “Tiger knew it was going to get out eventually so he had to make the phone call to Elin before his love life ended up in the newspapers again.”

Woods and Nordegren tied the knot in 2004 after three years of dating. They called it quits in 2010 following the athlete’s cheating scandal.

Earlier this month, Page Six confirmed that Woods and Vanessa were in a relationship.

At the time, an insider told us that the couple “share a lot of the same values” and were friends first.
