Thanks to the 626+ million views, the word “stan” became a frequently used term in the late 2010s/early 2020s to describe being a hardcore fan for someone or something.
The song was nominated for multiple awards, including the MTV Video Music Award for Video of the Year, and won the award for MuchMusic Video Award for iHeartRadio International Artist of the Year.
9 Eminem’s Mockingbird Has Earned 729+ Million Views
The song “Mockingbird” was a solo release by Eminem. The track debuted in 2004 on his album Encore. The number one spot is truly a testament to Eminem’s music career. “Love the Way You Lie” featuring Rihanna is the rapper’s most viewed music video on YouTube with over 2.5 BILLION views. The track was released in 2010 on the album Recovery.
In only a year, the song was nominated for 24 separate awards, winning five of them. The artists took home the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Music Video, Billboard Music Award for Top Rap Song, People’s Choice Award for Favorite Song, Soul Train Music Award for Rhythm & Bars Award, and the Teen Choice Award for Choice Music: Rap/Hip-Hop Track.
