Emmerdale actor Bradley Johnson has revealed that he and his fiancée, Sammie Johnstone, are preparing to welcome their first child together.
Johnson, best known for playing Vinny Dingle in the long-running ITV soap, shared the happy pregnancy news with his Instagram followers on Wednesday, confirming their baby is due later this year.
The actor marked the announcement with a photograph of a heart-shaped cake decorated with the message: “Baby coming December 2024.”
He also posted a series of Polaroid-style images showing the expectant parents holding an ultrasound scan and a baby grow.
Keeping the caption brief and sweet, Bradley wrote: “Mum and Dad,” followed by a red heart emoji.

The Emmerdale favourite, who portrays Vinny Dingle on the ITV drama, told fans that the couple will welcome their child later this year.
Messages of support soon poured in from Bradley’s ITV colleagues. Natalie Ann Jamieson, who plays Amy Wyatt in Emmerdale, commented: “OMG baby bradders!!! Congrats you gorgeous pair, couldn’t be happier for you x x x.”
Kevin Mathurin, who stars as Charles Anderson, added: “Congratulations guys.”

Meanwhile, Dean Andrews, known to Emmerdale viewers as Will Taylor, wrote: “Mate, I could not be happier for you both. Massive congrats.”
Lisa Riley, who plays Bradley’s on-screen mum Mandy Dingle gushed: ‘LOVE YOU BOTH SO SO SO SO MUCH. at long long last I can tell everyone-you are both going to be the absolute BEST!!! YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! so excited!!!! I’ve said congratulations to you both over a hundred times.’
Last October, Bradley popped the question to his fiancée during a romantic getaway to Rome.
The soap star shared a sweet snap of him and Sammie in front of the Colosseum, with her sparkling engagement ring clearly visible.
The pair have been a together since August 2021.
In August 2022, the couple celebrated their one year anniversary and Bradley shared a sweet post, he penned: ‘1 year with my soulmate!! How time flies. We have done so much together! Here is to many more!! Love you @sammiejojo92.’
