RHOBH’s Erika Jayne Discusses Kyle Not Mentioning Morgan’s Name and Garcelle’s Comment on Dorit’s Robbery, Plus Talks Being in the Middle of Dorit & Kyle's Feud, Her Legal Drama, & If Teddi Should Return

Erika Jayne has been through quite a bit, including her ongoing divorce and legal situation involving Tom Girardi. Much of this has been seen on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but it seems things are now looking up for the RHOBH star. Now, she’s opening up about her return to Broadway and dishing on everything related to the show and what fans can expect from the rest of the season.

As many will recall, Erika made her Broadway debut in the hit show Chicago in January 2020. We all know what happened that year, and her run was cut short in March. Now, she’s making her grand return to the stage as she felt she had “unfinished business.”

Recently, Erika sat down for an interview with US Weekly. She discussed quite a bit, but she started with a discussion of how she has coped with all the drama related to Tom and the lawsuit. For context, she has filed for divorce, but it’s still not finalized. Erika said she’s in a place where she has “more good days than bad.”

The interviewer wanted to know if Erika felt she had closure after all she’d been through with Tom. She admitted, “I don’t know if I’ll ever have complete closure, but I think I have it about as good as I can get. I will never have answers to some questions about my own life, but I think it’s about as good as you can get. I also have to acknowledge where I’m at today, sitting here, looking forward to the future as Roxie [her character in Chicago].”

She added, “I have to be here, and I can’t live any longer in the past. I have to let it go — easier said than done, but it’s something that I actively do every day.”

The issues between Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley then came up, and they discussed how Erika is in the middle. She said, “These are two people that I’ve known for a long time. Two women who are going through the worst time in their life. I most definitely can relate. I hate to see these two women, who are having a very hard time, go at each other when their husbands are good friends and having a good time.”

She went on, “And they do come to a resolution, but it’s a long time, and I say that today. I don’t know what comes at the reunion, and we’ll see. The one thing I do want for them is peace, and that’s what I wish them the most.”

Regarding being “caught in the middle” of their issues, she said, “Well, I was in the middle. I don’t know that I was necessarily caught. You’ll see me get to a point where ‘I have to step out; you two need to resolve this.’”

They also brought up the massive showdown between Kyle and Dorit this season, and Erika talked about what it was like to see it in person and notice them both “launching forward.” She said about the encounter, “These two are very angry. They were very angry at each other.” She then teased one more dramatic situation between the two and said, “Then things begin to settle. They have a very heartfelt conversation.”

The topic then turned to Kyle not wanting the ladies to bring up Morgan Wade and how she feels about that restriction. Erika admitted that it’s hard to do that when Morgan has been on the show, but she is committed to honoring her friend’s wishes. However, she added that she can’t stop others from mentioning Morgan.

When it comes to Garcelle Beauvais casting doubt on Dorit’s robbery situation, Erika said, “You know, I don’t like that because when you’re a victim of violent crime, it’s a serious thing, and for someone to suggest that… I just would stay away from that. I think that Dorit will handle that at the reunion.”

The text messages between Kyle and Paul “PK” Kemsley also came up. Asked if Kyle was wrong, Erika said, “I’m gonna let you watch that play out. You’ll see exactly where I’m coming from.”

The interviewer also wanted to know if Erika agreed with Sutton Stracke that Kyle should file for divorce. According to her, “I think that they’re doing what works best for them now. What I don’t want is for someone to get blindsided. Like, it feels good, and then, ‘Hi, you got served with papers’ because we’ve all seen it happen.”

She continued, “As long as you guys are friendly, that’s wonderful. Just remember that it can change at any time. So, be prepared.”

In the end, when asked if Lisa Rinna and Teddi Mellencamp should come back to the show, Erika answered, “I think they’ve both moved on. I think we have a great cast, and I’m glad that people enjoy it.

Fans can watch RHOBH on Tuesday nights.
