Nearly a year after filing for divorce from wife Olivia, Ethan Plath has someone new in his life.

The 26-year-old Welcome to Plathville star posted a carousel of photos via Instagram on Wednesday, January 1, introducing his followers to his new girlfriend. He did not reveal her name or how they met.

“Proud to introduce my sweet girlfriend! She truly is one of the sweetest, kindest, and patient people I’ve ever known!” wrote Ethan. “Looking forward to the next year and what it has to bring. Wishing everyone a very happy new year! Here we go 2025!”

The first photo features the couple sitting outside an auto repair shop, followed by a montage of pics that Ethan appeared to take without her knowing before slowly realizing she was being photographed while searching around the inside of her car.

Other photos included a bathroom selfie, the two posing in front of a yellow convertible and more shots of them sitting together, cheek to cheek.

Ethan and Olivia, also 26, split in 2023 after five years of marriage. They finalized their divorce in 2024, while fans watched the drama play out on season 6 of the TLC show.

Though Ethan was initially hesitant to jump back into the dating pool, Olivia has been candid about her love life in the time since their split.

“I’ve been dating outside of L.A. mostly all long distance,” she said in one season 6 episode. “I have found that that’s a really great way to keep a separation of, like, my single personal life in L.A. figuring my s— out and still having some fun when I’m traveling, going on dates, talking to people, but I’m not seeing them every day.”

Her new boyfriend, Brendan, was also featured on the latest season of Welcome to Plathville.

Ethan, who admitted to struggling with moving on from Olivia, put himself back out there in a later episode this past season when he asked for a woman’s number while dancing. He largely kept his personal life off of social media before Wednesday’s hard launch.

“It just didn’t work between us, though Lord knows we both gave it all we had,” he reflected in a 2023 Instagram post announcing his separation from Olivia. “It seemed we were constantly pulling each other in opposite directions in life with different goals. I wish Olivia the best in the future ahead. I care for her deeply and always will.”
