Evelyn Lozada is a proud mom and a doting grandmother! The Basketball Wives star exclusively tells In Touch what it’s like seeing her daughter, Shaniece Hairston, become a mother to son Blaze Taylor and shares what her coparenting relationship is like with The Game.

“They’re still doing great. Game is Game, he loves his kids,” Evelyn, 49, exclusively tells In Touch, before reflecting on the moment she found out The Game, 45, was the father of Blaze when Shaniece, 31, was still pregnant.

“I was like, ‘Well, who’s the dad?’ You know? And then she told me – I found so much peace,” the VH1 star admits. “Just knowing that he is a great dad, like I knew my grandson was gonna be fine.”

Evelyn gushes that Shaniece and The Game “have a great co-parenting relationship.”

The reality star shares that she reminds Shaniece to “have a great relationship with the father of [her] kids” because it “makes everything better for your kid.”

Evelyn also reveals where Blaze is with his milestones, gushing that he is “shaking and grooving” in the beginning stages of crawling.

“His crawl is interesting. It’s not like he drags himself through the floor. But now, he’s going from that to standing, and I’m like, ‘Oh, my God!’ Evelyn says.

Evelyn believes that Blaze is going to “walk early.”

Shaniece announced her pregnancy with Blaze via Instagram on June 16, 2024, by sharing a beachside photo of herself cradling her baby bump. She kept the details of her pregnancy to a minimum. However, In Touch broke the news that The Game was the father of Shaniece’s child two days later.

That November, Shaniece exclusively revealed to In Touch that she gave birth and welcomed a son, whom she was “major[ly] bonding” with.

“I do not wanna leave him. I obviously make it to the gym or I’ve been making it to the gym, but that’s good for me, you know, and to come back to him,” Shaniece said at the time. “But just major bonding, major skin to skin. If I leave him with my mom and I go to the gym, I’m like, ‘Is he OK? Did he eat? Did he sleep? Is he sleeping?’ You know, just it, when they tell you it’s like a love that you can’t describe and a journey.”

In order to mentally be there for Blaze, Shanice hit the gym and hired a personal trainer as soon as she was cleared after giving birth.

“She’s taking me through everything very slowly. She told me today, ‘We’re gonna start doing abs next week,’” Shaniece told In Touch at the time. “I’m like, ‘OK, good. Oh yeah. I’ve given my body time to heal. I didn’t want to go into working out too quickly, but I did. I missed having my body to myself.”

As for Evelyn, she is living her best life starring on Basketball Wives season 12 and creating content on OnlyFans.

“We’ve been doing it for a couple of years now. For clarity, I’m not in there busting it wide open, so it’s just everything. I’m always mindful. But whatever I post on there, if it hits the airwaves, I’m fine with it,” Evelyn explains to In Touch. “So, it could be a bathing suit. It could be lingerie, you know. I workout. I take care of myself, you know. Yes, I’m a grandma and I’m 49, but I feel great.”
