Sherrone Moore, who previously led Michigan’s football team, was recently seen in public alongside his wife, Kelli, marking their first appearance since Moore’s surprising dismissal and arrest.

The Daily Mail released photographs on December 14 showing the couple, accompanied by their youngest child, as they exited Moore’s attorney’s office.

In the images, Moore is pictured pushing a stroller while Kelli trails behind him.

Married since 2015, the couple is parents to three daughters.

Moore faces serious legal troubles following his arrest and subsequent termination from his coaching role at the University of Michigan. Court documents reveal that on December 12, in Ann Arbor’s 14A-1 District Court, Moore was charged with felony home invasion alongside two misdemeanor charges.

Before the scandal broke on Wednesday, December 10, Moore had been known to gush about his wife of 10 years on social media, often posting for anniversaries and birthdays, and calling her his “life partner.” (Moore has since deactivated his social media profiles.)

Moore was fired and arrested on Wednesday after an investigation found “credible evidence” that Sherrone had engaged in an “inappropriate relationship” with a staff member.

“U-M head football coach Sherrone Moore has been terminated, with cause, effective immediately,” athletic director Warde Manuel announced Wednesday in a statement. “Following a University investigation, credible evidence was found that Coach Moore engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member. This conduct constitutes a clear violation of University policy, and U-M maintains zero tolerance for such behavior.”

That day, Kelli called 911 saying she was worried that Moore was feeling “suicidal” after losing his job, according to a dispatch recording attained by TMZ.

After the news of his firing came out on Wednesday, Moore allegedly “barged his way” into his accuser’s apartment, threatening to kill himself in front of her with a butter knife and scissors.

He was taken into custody that evening, then was arraigned two days later, on Friday, December 12. The hearing shed more light on the accusations at hand.

“[Moore] immediately then proceeded to a kitchen drawer, grabbed several butter knives and a pair of kitchen scissors and began to threaten his own life,” said Kati Rezmierski, first assistant prosecutor for Washtenaw County, during the arraignment hearing.

Moore allegedly told the woman, “I’m going to kill myself. I’m going to make you watch. My blood is on your hands. You ruined my life.”

The woman called the police and Moore fled the apartment, and was arrested shortly after at a local church.

News of University of Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore’s abrupt firing was reportedly shared with staff and players in a team meeting. According to an article published by The Athletic on Thursday, December 11, most of the University of Michigan players and staff members were told of Moore’s dismissal by Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel at […]

According to the 911 dispatch obtained by TMZ Sports, the woman claimed Moore had been “stalking her for months.”

The disgraced coach was charged with one count of third-degree felony home invasion, one count misdemeanor stalking related to a domestic relationship and one count misdemeanor breaking and entering, and was granted a $25,000 cash surety bond under the condition he not contact the victim and that he wear a GPS tether.

A probable cause conference is set for January 22.

If Moore is convicted on all counts, he’s facing up to six years, three months in prison and $3,500 worth of fines.

In response to this scandal — as well as a handful of others that have rocked the University of Michigan athletic department in recent years — the school reportedly authorized a full investigation into the department. According to ESPN, Michigan hired Jenner & Block — a Chicago-based law firm — to run the investigation.

Us Weekly has reached out to Moore’s attorney for comment.
