Following the departures of Brynn Whitfield, 39, and Rebecca Minkoff, 44, sources indicate that Bravo plans to retain only three members from the previous season’s cast. These returning members will join four original cast members from the iconic series, alongside two new faces.
An insider hinted to Bravo and Cocktails on November 12 that the delay in announcing the new season is strategic. “RHONY is still on pause because Bravo is ensuring it doesn’t miss the mark for a third time and recognizes the value of original cast members,” the source revealed. “Expect updates at BravoCon.”
According to the insider, the cast members returning from season 15 are Jessel Taank, 46, Sai De Silva, 44, and Erin Lichy, 38. This suggests that Jenna Lyons, 57, Ubah Hassan, 42, and Racquel Chevremont, 54, will not be part of the upcoming season.
According to the source, the three women still standing from season 15 are Jessel Taank, 46, Sai De Silva, 44, and Erin Lichy, 38, which means Jenna Lyons, 57, Ubah Hassan, 42, and Racquel Chevremont, 54, will not be back.
As for the OGs, it was alleged that Luann de Lesseps, 60, Sonja Morgan, 61, Dorinda Medley, 60, and Carole Radziwill, 62, would be part of the season 16 cast.
Those women, along with “[two] newbies will be the next season,” the insider stated.
Bravo & Cocktails is reporting that S16 of #RHONY will be announced at BravoCon and star Luann, Sonja, Dorinda, Carole, Sai, Jessel, Erin and two newbies. The source went on to say that since the OGs and new cast members have been getting to know one another in recent years, mixing up the group for season 16 makes sense.
“At this point, the women have met and been around each other for [three] years so [it’s] not so crazy that these women would be on the same show anymore,” the insider explained.
Around the same time, Erin and Carole proved such was true with an outing in the Big Apple.
“Once a RHONY, always a RHONY,” Erin wrote in the caption of her post, fueling the possibility of Carole returning to the show.
In addition to Erin fueling rumors, Dorinda did as well, as she was spotted en route to Las Vegas for BravoCon on Wednesday with Summer House‘s Kyle Cooke, 43, and Amanda Batula, 34.

According to Bravo and Cocktails‘ insider, filming is expected to begin “in January after the holidays.”
