Dorit Kemsley’s marriage to PK Kemsley is teetering on divorce, but what gets her ire going is Kyle Richards poking her nose in and supporting her estranged hubby, and Dorit is calling her out as a traitor and telling her to back off. 

“Dorit doesn’t think Kyle’s after him or anything, it’s more the principle of the thing,” the insider says. “Dorit finds it intrusive and irritating that Kyle continues to text and talk to PK, asking him how he’s doing and offering advice.” 

While Kyle, 56, certainly didn’t start her feud with Dorit, 48, over the text messages she’s been sending her costar’s businessman husband, 57, her insistence on communicating with PK has thrown gas onto an already open flame.

“She knows she did something wrong, and now she’s just trying to get aggressive and scream so that I will back down and shut the conversation down,” Dorit said of Kyle in the January 7 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after a shouting match that began over PK. The fight spilled over into the next episode, and tensions between the two women weren’t getting any better.

To make matters worse, the two Housewives’ feud is straining Dorit’s already strained relationship with her likely soon-to-be ex. “As of now, Dorit and PK are still separated and barely on speaking terms, and this isn’t helping, if you ask Dorit,” the insider adds. 

“She’s confronted Kyle with the warning, mind your own business or else.” 

Despite the hostilities between Dorit and PK, the Housewife recently revealed she has been texting her estranged husband, which came as a surprise to her two costars Erika Jayne and Bozoma Saint John. In a preview for episode 11, which airs Tuesday, February 11, Dorit says “I picked up the phone, and we start talking like we’re friends.” She continues in the clip, “I’m talking to him, and there is the father of my children. The man that I believed no longer existed.”

While that may bode well for their relationship – as viewers will soon find out – the impending threat of divorce has been looming in many fans’ minds since the couple announced their separation nearly a year ago, in March 2024. Their romance came as an unexpected whirlwind, after then L.A.-based PK asked Dorit to postpone a flight so they could spend more time together. On a whim, she agreed, and the rest is history. After just a few months of courtship the two eloped in March 2015 in NYC.

Though, despite PK and Dorit seemingly landing on better terms in the upcoming episode, the source notes that Kyle never felt the need to end her friendship with the Brit just because he and Dorit were running into relationship issues.

“Kyle doesn’t think she should drop PK as a friend just because of their marital problems and in her defense, she’s just being a good friend, but it’s got the gals taking sides and it’s causing major drama behind the scenes.”
