Following last month’s conference, a video surfaced showing an intense altercation in a hotel lobby among Lindsay, Tom, and his girlfriend Victoria. In the clip, Lindsay can be heard exclaiming, “shut the f**k up,” while Victoria responds with, “Get the f**k out,” before exiting the scene.
Kristen and Brittany delved into the incident on their podcast, When Reality Hits, offering more context to the fiery exchange.
“During BravoCon, everyone familiar with our friend group kept saying, ‘Tom and Victoria fight constantly.’ Then, friends who attended Kyle Cooke‘s DJ set reported that Tom and Victoria were at it again,” Kristen explained, citing an Instagram post by @thebravoinvestigator. “They went to another afterparty, and once again, Tom and Victoria were arguing.”
“[During BravoCon] everyone that knew our whole group of friends just kept being like, ‘Tom and Victoria fight all the time.’ And [then] all our friends that went to … Kyle Cooke‘s DJ set [said] Tom and Victoria [were] fighting,” said Kristen, via @thebravoinvestigator on Instagram. “They go to like another afterparty, [and] Tom and Victoria [were] fighting.”
“Lindsay Hubbard told me — I didn’t even realize someone got it on camera — but she had told me she scolded Tom … [telling him], ‘Bro, enough. Like you are just making a fool of yourself, and like stop it,’” recalled Kristen.
Brittany said this was the moment that went “viral.”
“A fan or somebody caught [it],” she shared. “Because a lot of people at BravoCon would find out where everybody was staying, and would like sit around the elevators … secretly recording things that we didn’t know about.”
“That was one of them,” said Kristen. “[It] was Lindsay like having a moment with Tom and then also Victoria. But Lindsay had told me about that far before I even knew there was a video of it. And she even said Victoria, I think, walked up to her and said something like, ‘I don’t know you.’ And Lindsay was like, ‘Okay, fair. You are totally right, and I am completely out of my element in even having this conversation’ … [But] Tom, haven’t you done enough? Like stop creating drama.’”
According to Brittany, the video wasn’t what some people assumed.
“So a lot of people thought it looked like Lindsay … was being yelled at by Tom and Victoria, but I think what was happening was that Tom and Victoria were fighting, and Lindsay was trying to defuse the situation,” said Brittany. “I think she was trying to take them away, because also in the lobby there’s a bar there, and a lot of people hang out there. And we were taking photos there, and there was all this stuff.”
Kristen explained, “There’s fans, there’s industry executives — like there’s NBCU heads, [so] Lindsay absolutely … felt very maternal in that moment as a new mom, and she was like, ‘I felt like I had to school him as a mother. Like what are you doing?’”
“Yeah,” said Brittany. “Like, why are you fighting in front of all these people?”
