A body-cam recording captured Meghan King in tears as she confided in police officers about issues surrounding her daughter’s communion dress. King accused her former spouse, Jim Edmonds, of being “emotionally abusive” and leveraging his status to “intimidate” her.

Reports indicate that the Real Housewives of Orange County alum lost custody of her three children following a Child Protective Services (CPS) investigation. The inquiry allegedly revealed she administered Ritalin to one of her twin boys, despite the prescription being for the other twin. Consequently, her visitation rights have been significantly reduced to just a few weeks during summer.

Earlier this year, tensions escalated when Jim’s current wife, Kortnie O’Connor, contacted the authorities after Meghan reportedly entered their residence without authorization. Meghan was there to deliver her daughter’s communion dress but also attempted to engage with her daughter. Jim, a renowned Major League Baseball player, has been at the center of this ongoing family drama.

Police body-cam footage, seemingly from the day Kortnie lodged her complaint, shows Meghan in a confrontation with an officer over the situation.

According to police cam footage, assumedly taken on the day Kortnie called the police, Meghan had a disagreement with an officer.

“We have to figure out if there’s actually a restraining order,” said the officer, via @bravo_boo on Instagram.

“There’s not a restraining order,” she responded.

“We have to verify that,” said the officer. “I’m gonna have to place you in cuffs if you don’t stop. Ma’am, we’re going to detain you, okay? So you have to calm down and talk to us, okay? Calm down. Talk to us. We’re going to be respectful with you. You be respectful with us. And then we’ll go from there, okay? We’ll verify if there’s a restraining order. If not, we’ll go talk to [Jim] real quick and see what’s actually going on.”

“He’s not here,” said Meghan.

“How did we get the call?” asked the officer.

“I don’t know, the wife is there, and she answered the door, and I have my daughter’s first communion dress,” she said, beginning to cry. “Jim Edmonds called me and asked me [to] please come and drop that off. And I said that’s fine, but I need to talk to Aspen because she needs to decide if she wants to borrow my rosary or not … He’s incredibly emotionally abusive. He uses his name to push me around, and his money.”

Meghan also shared that her son is “struggling” because his dad is “moving to Nashville.” Later on, Meghan said she’s had “ex partes” against Jim.
