Meghan Markle hit it off with Kris Jenner earlier this year and now she’s looking to schmooze other members of the Kardashian klan – with eldest daughter Kourtney Kardashian at the top of the list, a source exclusively tells In Touch.

“Meghan really admires what Kourtney has done with Poosh, she reads it all the time and loves how unapologetic the whole concept is,” the insider says of Kourtney’s lifestyle brand. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, has been trying to break into the lifestyle and wellness space herself with her line, American Riviera Orchard, but as In Touch previously reported, she and her red-haired hubby, Prince Harry, 40, are having a tough go of it so far.

“Sure, people bash on the whacky ideas Kourtney brings up,” the source continues, “but the truth is these things are on a lot of women’s minds, and things like supplements may not be mainstream, but Meghan believes they work.”

As Meghan continues her push into the mainstream with her Netflix deal and associated brands, she’s feeling like a kindred spirit to the Kardashian, 45, who knows all about self-promo as a way of life. “In a lot of ways, she and Kourtney are similar, they’re both these granola types that are super devoted moms.” 

“They also have some friends in common, including Skye [Hoppus] who’s married to Mark in Blink 182.” Kourtney married Travis Barker in 2022, the drummer of Blink 182, trying the two women together through some high-society L.A. connections.

With the Sussexes iced out of the royal fold for the time being, the couple are on the hunt for a new elite social circle, which includes Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia De Rossi, though they’re unlikely to be hanging around Los Angeles for long as they plan their U.K. move, and, oddly enough, American musician Jelly Roll, who has close ties with the Nashville Country Music scene and a range of Southern celebrities Harry and Meghan can cozy up to.

A different source told Life & Style the former USA Network actress, “is looking beyond Hollywood and realizes there’s an untapped gold mine in Nashville and the country music world in general and this connection with Jelly Roll is the perfect way to get her foot in the door … There are loads of other celebrities in the South and plenty of star power.”

Now, with the Duchess eying a friendship with one of the most influential women in Southern California, she’s keen to get Harry involved in her social plotting, the first source says. “Meghan knows Harry would enjoy meeting Travis and thinks they would all get along well, she thinks it would be fun and that’s something she and Harry are looking to add to their life in the coming year.” 

“It will be easy because Kourtney and Travis have a place close to Montecito and they love it there. Meghan’s plan is to invite them over for dinner at the house, she wants to cook for them and have a nice little dinner party, she may even invite Skye and Mark to break the ice.”
