The scandal involved Law’s affair with Daisy Wright, the nanny caring for the children he shared with ex-wife Sadie Frost. Prior to this, Law had already been dodging rumors of an affair with his “Cold Mountain” co-star, Nicole Kidman. Kidman successfully sued the Daily Mail over these unfounded claims.
Jude Law and Sienna Miller began their whirlwind romance in 2004, getting engaged within a year. This followed closely on the heels of Law’s divorce from Frost, casting a shadow of suspicion over their relationship. Miller had to publicly deny speculation of an affair with Law. At the time, Law was at the pinnacle of his career, and Miller was gaining fame with a major role in the West End’s “As You Like It.” The couple faced intense public scrutiny, which intensified in 2005 when The Mirror reported that Law’s son had revealed his father’s affair with the nanny. Wright’s personal diary excerpts were published, making the scandal public. Law issued an apology through the British Press Association, stating, “I want to publicly apologize to Sienna and our respective families for the pain that I have caused. There is no defense for my actions which I sincerely regret” (via The Guardian).
Despite a public apology, the damage had been done. As reported by The New York Post, the news severely affected Sienna Miller, even impacting her ability to perform on stage. Reflecting on the ordeal in a 2020 interview with The Daily Beast, Miller described it as one of the most challenging experiences of her life, saying, “To face that kind of public heartbreak and still perform in front of 800 people every night, it’s just the last thing you want to do.” Although Law and Miller attempted to rekindle their relationship between 2009 and 2011, it ultimately did not last.
Despite the scandal, Jude Law managed to maintain a thriving acting career. The British actor later married psychologist Phillipa Coan in 2019, opting for a more private relationship, seemingly to steer clear of further tabloid drama. Interestingly, a 2026 report by The Sun revealed that Law had a brief fling with “Real Housewives of London” star Amanda Cronin, during a period when both were reportedly single.

A public apology can only go so far once the damage is done. According to The New York Post, Sienna Miller couldn’t perform after dealing with the news and had to take a moment before returning to the stage, better than ever. In a 2020 discussion with The Daily Beast about the situation, Miller said, “That was one of the most challenging moments I hope I’ll ever have to experience. Because with that level of public heartbreak, to have to get out of a bed let alone stand in front of 800 people every night, it’s just the last thing you want to do.” Jude Law and Miller broke up and attempted the relationship again between 2009 and 2011.
While Law took a metaphorical beating after being the villain in a very public scandal, he was able to maintain a successful acting career. The British heartthrob went on to marry Phillipa Coan, a psychologist, in 2019. It appears that Law has kept this relationship private and very low profile, perhaps to avoid any further tabloid drama surrounding his love life. However, in a 2026 report by The Sun, “Real Housewives of London” star Amanda Cronin revealed that she had a fling with Law during a time when the two were both purportedly single.
No exact dates were revealed, making it difficult to confirm Law’s relationship status at the time. There are no other confirmed cheating scandals associated with Law’s complicated love life besides his major slip up with Miller, but it should be noted that Law is the proud father of 7 children, divided amongst four women. If one thing’s certain, it’s that Law loves women, perhaps a bit too much.
