Whitney Rose recently described Meredith Marks as “diabolical” in response to Marks’ actions on the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. During the episode, Meredith surprised her fellow cast members with drug tests at Bronwyn Newport’s “Spill The Tea Party.”

At 53, Meredith decided to distribute drug tests to the cast, targeting anyone, including 39-year-old Whitney, who had insinuated her involvement with drugs. The move sparked a heated reaction from Whitney, prompting a lively exchange among the group and leading Meredith to challenge the dynamics outlined in their friendship Constitution.

Bronwyn Newport, 40, explained on the December 2 episode of RHOSLC: After Show that her intention was to host a humorous event with an American theme, inspired by the historical Boston Tea Party. “It’s shady. Boston spill the tea party? It is a historically accurate way for us to be awful to each other. Like, what was not to love about this?” she commented.

However, Bronwyn admitted that the actual event was far more chaotic than anticipated. “I felt really proud of that until it happened, and there was much more chaos than everybody thought it was going to be,” she reflected.

“I felt really proud of that until it happened, and there was much more chaos than everybody thought it was going to be,” she added.

Looking back at Meredith’s request, Whitney lashed out.

“Meredith asking us to take a drug test was diabolical,” she noted. “But I was willing to do it right then and there.”

As Britani Bateman, 54, described Meredith’s gift as “another stunt,” pointing out that it was “convenient” that she didn’t present her test first, Bronwyn described the drug tests as a “funny comeback,” and Meredith targeted Whitney and her supposed projection.

“I think Whitney likes to project, and I’m not saying she is in this case or not; that’s not really up to me to judge. Unlike her, I don’t really judge people that way, but I can note what they do do,” she explained. “Fair is fair. You take your drug test. Being unwilling to do it is a statement in and of itself. If you have nothing to hide, why won’t you do it?”

During another segment of the RHOSLC: After Show, the cast discussed their friendship constitution, with Bronwyn insisting she “tried” to uphold it.

“We were going to forge a new constitution, a new way forward. We did come up with amendments that everybody wanted. We all might be in danger of having [broken] all of those amendments at this point in time. But we tried,” she noted.

“I think we tried to abide by them, but of course conflict arises, and drama, and we’re back to square one,” Angie Katsanevas, 51, agreed.

As for the rest of the cast, Heather Gay, 51, said she didn’t think the Constitution “made its way into [their] daily behavior,” as others confirmed their relationships improved. For instance, Whitney said things got better with Lisa Barlow, 50, and Meredith, as Britani said her friendships with Bronwyn, Whitney, Heather, and “even [Mary Cosby],” 53, got better.

“We held up our part of the Constitution. No amendments necessary,” Britani stated.

She then took aim at Lisa and Meredith, saying that they were “like two ships in the night.”

“They’re besties, and I’m happy that misery likes company,” she added.

Reflecting on their supposed pact, Meredith made it clear she was unimpressed with the concept.

“[It’s] just another piece of nonsense. We get a lot of this in the group where everyone’s like, ‘Oh, we’re gonna change this, we’re gonna do that. We’re not following ridiculous social media stories.’ And what happens is, they use it to protect themselves, and they ignore it when it comes to me, or when it comes to Lisa,” she alleged.

Meredith also said that while she wasn’t standing up for Britani, the “same rules do not apply to her with the women.”

“They pretend to be [Britani’s] friend to her face, but they don’t speak nicely about her behind her back,” she noted.

“There’s a very clear objective with some of the women. I’m not feeding into it. I see you. I might not call it out every second, but I see it. I’m very, very smart and very, very observant,” she added.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season six airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
