Emma Heming Willis felt the love from her tight-knit family while celebrating her 47th birthday.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, June 19, Emma, who has been married to Bruce Willis since 2009, expressed gratitude towards her friends and family by posting a carousel of happy snaps alongside a gushing caption.

The post showed several important people celebrating her special day, including Bruce’s ex wife, Demi Moore, 62, and the former couple’s eldest daughter Rumer Willis, 36. (Bruce and Demi also share daughters Scout, 32, and Tallulah, 30.)

Emma and Bruce’s daughters, Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11, were also present in the post, as was Rumer’s 2-year-old daughter, Louetta Isley.

“Over the past few weeks, I’ve been wrapped in so much love for my birthday. From Bruce, our girls, my mom, my family, and dear friends. I feel their love and support holding me up in ways words can’t always capture,” Emma captioned the Instagram post.

She added: “Thank you to everyone who sent birthday wishes. I truly felt your continued kindness and I’m grateful. I had a beautiful day 💙.”

Emma and Moore have formed a close friendship over the years with the pair regularly showing public support for one another. In March 2019, Moore even attended a ceremony that saw Emma and Bruce renew their vows.

“She [Demi] welcomed me into her family like I welcomed her into ours. I have so much respect for how Bruce and Demi worked through their divorce to be able to put their children first,” Emma told Us Weekly exclusively at the time. “I learned so much from that and grew so much from watching that. It was important for her to be there.”

Emma’s Instagram share comes amid Bruce’s ongoing battle with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia, which Emma has been candid about as she supports and cares for her husband following the diagnosis.

To mark Father’s Day on Sunday, June 15th, Emma shared a poignant post via Instagram that addressed the Die Hard actor’s health issues.

“Happy Father’s Day to all the dads living with disability or disease, showing up in the ways they can and to the children who show up for them,” Emma wrote alongside a photo of Evelyn cuddling up to Bruce. “What Bruce teaches our girls goes far beyond words. Resilience, unconditional love, and the quiet strength in simply being present. This photo says so much. Love deepens. It adapts. It stays, even when everything else changes.”

Emma also wrote of the profound meaning that annual days like Father’s Day have taken on in light of Bruce’s diagnosis.

“But to be fair to myself, these symbolic days stir up a lot. I’m profoundly sad today. I wish, with every cell in my body, that things could be different for him and lighter for our family,” Emma continued. “As they say in our FTD community, ‘It is what it is.’ And while that might sound dismissive, to me, it’s not. It grounds me. It helps me return to the acceptance of what is and not fight this every step of the way like I used to.”
