Sir Rod Stewart sent his fans into meltdown as he shared another announcement about his tour.

Touted as one of his last major international performances, Sir Rod’s One Last Time tour will see him showcase his most beloved hits in various countries.

The tour will commence on March 7 in Austin, just a week before Sir Rod’s Vegas residency is due to start. The iconic Maggie May hitmaker, 80, plans to pick up the tour again in June once this concludes, with stadium shows lined up across Europe, South America, and beyond.

In a new update, Sir Rod has announced dates in Colombia and Uruguay and has also added a third show in Argentina.

Taking to Instagram to share the update, he penned: “Colombia and Uruguay! Excited to announce new One Last Time Tour dates this October! Can’t wait to perform for you all!”

In a separate post, he wrote: “Argentina! We’re adding a THIRD show! Tickets go on sale today at 1 PM local time.”

Fans didn’t waste any time showing their excitement, inundating the post with comments brimming with anticipation.

One wrote: “Waiting for the great day to see you, here we love you very much.”

Another echoed: “OMG!!! Soooo happy!!!! We love you in Uruguay. Welcome!!!!”

A third exclaimed: “I’m so excited to see you,” as another agreed: “It’s so great!!!! Thank you Rod for coming back to Uruguay.”

Clearly moved by the news, a fifth fan shared several tearful emojis, admitting they “can’t wait” for the tour.

Sir Rod has been listening to his fans as he continues adding new dates to his tour. Last month, the Baby Jane singer announced an additional set of European dates starting in November.

The European leg of the concert commences on April 23 at the Zalgiris Arena in Kaunas, Lithuania and will carry on until May 13, culminating in a performance at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal.

In amongst his tour, Sir Rod will be performing at Glastonbury Festival in June and is reportedly set to be joined on stage by Ronnie Wood.

A festival insider told The Sun: “Rod is really excited about his big Worthy Farm gig and wanted to give a nod to the beginning of his career, so thought it would be fitting to bring out Ronnie. He knows the pair of them together will be a huge crowd pleaser.”
