Teresa Giudice posed in a T-shirt with designer labels on Instagram after news was shared regarding the tax liens against her and her husband, Luis Ruelas. In response, her fans and followers had plenty to say.

Days after Teresa, 52, and Luis, 50, were hit with tax liens in the amounts of $303,889.20 and $2,569,842.06, respectively, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star took to Instagram, where she showed off her designer shirt and spoke of being “unstoppable.”

“New week, fresh goals, unstoppable energy! Let’s make this Monday the start of something amazing,” read the caption to her March 24 post, which featured a T-shirt that said, “I Speak Fluent French,” and listed designers, including Hermes, Chanel, Dior, and Saint Laurent.

Unsurprisingly, fans couldn’t help but take note of the timing of Teresa’s post.

“Teresa I love you but this is so tone deaf lol,” one person stated.

“This lol. Not to mention the IRS talks. Eeeek,” said another, signaling Teresa’s recent financial drama.

“I love her too and you’re right, I can’t believe she didn’t make [Luis] sign a prenup,” wrote a third, giving a nod to Teresa’s decision to refrain from signing a prenuptial agreement with Luis before their August 2022 wedding.

Another person, however, suspected that Teresa’s message was made in “pre-post mode.”

As for other fans, some agreed with Teresa and her sentiments.

“Don’t let someone dim your light, simply because it’s shining in their eyes,” someone shared, along with a series of heart emojis.

But after reading the message, a different follower of Teresa’s pointed to the money she and Luis owe to the government.

“3 million in tax liens doesn’t give off anything but shadows and darkness,” they said.

This isn’t the first time Teresa and Luis have faced money troubles. As RHONJ fans may recall, she owed $615,720.94 in back taxes in 2023, and in 2024, Luis reportedly took out a $1 million loan in hopes of paying off their $3.4 million home.

Luis has also faced challenges in business. In fact, just months ago, a company he co-founded, Vinivia, Digital Media Solutions Inc. (DMS), faced claims of failing to pay a party planner over $300,000 and later filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is currently on pause.
