Well, that fizzled out quickly.
Amanda Batula, known for her role on “Summer House,” caught attention on Instagram Tuesday morning with a sizzling advertisement for Flower by Edie Parker. However, the campaign, which initially created a buzz, soon took an unexpected turn.
In the campaign, Batula showcased a bold look, donning a tiny T-shirt featuring the phrase “These are your boobs on drugs.” The collection pledged that 15% of its sales would support the Last Prisoner’s Project, a non-profit organization focused on reforming cannabis-related criminal justice issues.
Shortly after the campaign launch, Batula made headlines for another reason—she revealed her secret romance with fellow star West Wilson, a move that left many fans surprised. Page Six was the first to report that the pair are officially in a “full-blown relationship.”
Following the revelation, Edie Parker’s Instagram shared a new post with a different image, stating, “A lot can change in a day 👀😮💨 Same shirt. Same great charity. New model.” They reminded followers that 15% of each sale from the Boobs on Drugs Tee would continue to benefit @lastprisonerproject. x”
Edie Parker deleted the posts featuring Batula’s steamy shoot, scrubbing her from their page.
“It’s not just a hookup,” an insider told us of the budding relationship, adding that the Bravo show stars — including Wilson’s ex Ciara Miller and Batula’s estranged husband Kyle Cooke — are “pissed” and “disappointed.”
Fans are also up in arms, seeming to back both Miller, who was best friends with Batula, and Edie Parker.
“We love a girls girl brand,” one person said. “On the right side 👏,” said another.
Tons more called for the brand to replace Batula with Miller.
“I felt so bad for my girl Edie Parker!!! So glad to see this! Bad timing but good pivot 🔥,” a third person wrote.
There were Batula defenders, however. “Removing someone’s work opportunity for something they did in their personal life as two consenting single adults is wild,” one person said.
