Phil Foden and his girlfriend Rebecca Cooke have announced they are expecting their third child together on Instagram on Monday.

The Manchester City midfielder, 23, and his childhood sweetheart, 22, celebrated the exciting news with a lavish baby shower over the weekend. 

The couple posed for a sweet family photo with their two children, son Ronnie, five, and one-year-old daughter True. 

Rebecca showed off her baby bump in a figure hugging blue maxi dress as she held baby True, who was dressed in a blue sequin dress. 

Meanwhile the England footballer and son Ronnie matched in £370 Amiri black T-shirts which they teamed with skinny jeans and white trainers.

The couple posed in front of a large blue and white balloon arch and eye catching LED letters that spelt ‘baby Foden’.

Ronnie, who has his own Instagram account run by his mother, shared an insight into the celebrations on his social media page. 

The post read: ‘Had an amazing day with the most important people yesterday.

‘Photo credit to the amazing @sophie_eleanor_photography Thank you again for capturing our special moment’.

In another picture, Ronnie beamed as he swung on a small swing which was placed in front of a blue floral wall.

Guests at the party were treated to an impressive blue chocolate fountain, blue donuts and a large blue themed cake.

The children were kept entertained during the celebrations with a white bouncy castle. 

The footballer and Rebecca reportedly met at a party when they were teenagers in Stockport and she has since been seen supporting him at several of his matches.

Phil became a dad for the first time at the age of 18, when he and Rebecca welcomed son Ronnie.

Speaking of the magical moment to Man City’s website, he said: ‘I was there for the birth. I walked out of the room, gave it a little tear and then went back in like nothing happened.

‘I’m not one for crying in front of people. I like to be on my own, but I was there in the room, watched it happen and it was a special moment.’

In 2021, the couple welcomed daughter True to their family.
