Former Dancing With The Stars pro Lindsay Arnold Cusack let TikTok followers in on a little secret after Christmas — the reality TV alum decided to “gift” herself plastic surgery in Mexico.

On December 29, we reported on Lindsay’s upcoming breast augmentation journey, announced during a gleeful “get ready with me” (GRWM) video.

As Lindsay – big sister of DWTS pro Rylee Arnold – applied primer and began to do her makeup, she broke the news of her imminent plastic surgery:

“I am turning 31 on January 11, and Sam [Cusick] and I are going to Mexico for a little getaway. We’re doing three nights and then we get home.

“The next day, I am getting my breast augmentation. I am also getting a lift … It’s just so many decisions, and it’s hard that you make the choices for yourself, and you have to live with those choices.”

Lindsay was exuberant about her decision, but she wasn’t naive about potential criticism, either.

Plastic surgery – or elective, cosmetic surgery in general – remains highly controversial, and openly discussing yours is a near guarantee you’ll get unwanted feedback and opinions.

Lindsay talked about it on TikTok, so she likely anticipated blowback, and she said:

Comments on the post were overwhelmingly supportive for the internet, however, with a “you’re perfect the way you are” being the only comment gently resembling criticism.

A shocking number of people shared their breast augmentation experience, and so many replied: “Best thing I ever did.”

Lindsay pledged to vlog through her plastic surgery, and on the other side of the operating table, she’s started sharing updates.

‘Zero Regrets Here’

Lindsay kicked off the day of her plastic surgery with another GRWM, and she was visibly excited.

From there, she filmed the drive to the surgical facility, her arrival, and a brief scene with her surgeon that amused followers:

That clip segued to after her surgery, where a groggy Lindsay said she was “sleepy, dizzy,” and nauseated.

Her very next clip was a response to another user, who’d said: “Don’t do it!!! I regret mine.”

Using a very popular TikTok audio – the “don’t do it” sound – Lindsay updated followers with adorable levels of excitement:

Her next update came the morning after her surgery, and she said “threw up once,” but felt “back to normal.”

On Friday, January 17, she shared a “Day 3” post-op video as part of her “unfiltered morning vlogs,” and updated fans on her recovery for over four minutes.

At that time, the fate of TikTok was uncertain, with a looming ban slated for Sunday, January 19.

In response to one fan worried about accessing Lindsay’s plastic surgery updates should the app be banned, she said: “Still holding onto hope that TikTok will be OK! If not, I’ll share them on my [Instagram] @lindsarnold.”
