Cary Deuber, a familiar face to fans of “The Real Housewives of Dallas,” stirred quite a reaction on social media with her latest Instagram post. On Monday, the former reality TV star shared a striking photo that left many of her followers buzzing, though not for the reasons she might have hoped.

The picture featured Deuber, now 49, posing elegantly with a martini glass in hand. Her blonde hair cascaded over her shoulders, and her makeup was impeccably done. Despite the glamorous setup, it was her appearance that became the center of attention, as numerous fans and followers remarked on how different she looked compared to her days on Bravo’s hit series. Deuber was a prominent figure on the show, serving as a main cast member from its debut season through the third and later returning as a friend in the fourth season.

Accompanying the snapshot, Cary simply captioned it, “Martini Monday,” on January 5. However, the simplicity of the caption didn’t prevent a flood of comments from fans who were quick to point out just how unrecognizable she seemed from her reality TV past.

After the photo was shared, several people left messages about how different Cary looked from her time on Bravo.

“You have changed so much you don’t look like yourself,” one person stated. 

“Who is this?” another asked. 

A third told Cary, “You look absolutely nothing like the [woman] we saw on the RHOD.”

Even after someone pointed out that while Cary’s image may have been shared with a filter, describing Cary as a “natural beauty,” she was someone who “often films herself with no [makeup] and looks amazing,” someone mentioned the former reality star’s use of an alleged “filter.”

Around the time that Cary’s photo was raising eyebrows on Instagram, Sutton’s Roller on X posted a couple of before-and-after photos, one of which was taken at the season two reunion, which aired in November 2017, and another, more recent pic that showed Cary in a promo for Ladies on Latenight.

“Did she have her chin shaved down to make her face round, plus a nose job?” one person wondered. “She looks nothing like her former self.”

Another said she looked to have had a “full head transplant,” as a third said she was “unrecognizable.”

As RHOD fans may have heard, Cary is starring alongside her fellow Bravo alums, LeeAnne Locken, 58, and Kameron Westcott, 42, on Ladies on Latenight, which airs on Fox 4 News in Dallas.
