Axed BBC Strictly Come Dancing star returns to UK in huge announcement after sacking

Axed Strictly Come Dancing star Graziano di Prima is returning to the UK next month to host dance classes in the legendary Attic Studios in London. The 30-year-old star was axed from Strictly in July 2024 amid claims about his behaviour towards his 2023 celebrity dance partner, ex-Love Island contestant Zara McDermott. He kept a low profile in the aftermath but he now appears to be doing a soft launch back into the public eye.

In December last year he returned to London offering classes with dance champ Pasquale La Rocca as a special guest. The pair offered joint dance classes at the Du Boisson Studios in London’s West End. This time around he will be joined by his wife Giada Lini to teach Jive and Salsa on April 27. Described as “fun and energetic Latin dance group classes in London” an email sent out to his mailing list subscribers said the classes are “open to all levels, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer.” Each class will run for an hour and participants can join one for £45 or both for £80.

Graziano also promoted the enterprise with a reel on his Facebook page. Sitting on what appears to be a dressing room table with a make up mirror lit up behind him he said: “Ciao everyone.

“I finally have some beautiful news. The 27 April I will be in London at the Dance Attic teaching two incredible dances – Jive and Salsa. I cannot wait to see you all and most importantly dance with you all.

“We’re gonna have fun and if you wanna check your spot, if you wanna book your spot, the link is below and literally I’m so excited and so happy. I can’t wait to dance with all of you.”

He finished the clip by blowing a kiss to fans with both hands.

Prior to his Strictly Come Dancing scandal Graziano and Giada ran regular classes in London together under his Dancing with Graz brand.

At the time Graziano also offered private lessons for those who wanted a one on one experience, however that is no longer an option.

The former BBC Strictly pro admitted to kicking Zara but insisted it was accidental.

He was so devastated after being axed from the show for “gross misconduct” that he returned to his native Sicily, where he picked grapes and dug graves on a farm for a time.
