Jeff Lewis‘ ex, Gage Edward, announced his engagement to Jeff’s former boyfriend, Scott Anderson, on Saturday.

Five years after the 55-year-old Flipping Out alum called it quits with Scott after just one year of dating, Gage, 39, took to his Instagram page, where he confirmed he and Scott were engaged with a photo of their two hands wearing wedding bands on their ring fingers.

“Jeff Lewis’ ex-husband (Gage) is now engaged to Jeff Lewis’s ex boyfriend (Scott Anderson),” Garcelle Beauvais’ Race Card on X revealed to its fans and followers on June 15, later noting that Jeff and Gage were never married.

A screenshot of Gage’s announcement was also shared on Reddit on Saturday.

“And a yes,” Gage had written in the caption, along with a ring emoji and a teary-eyed emoji.

As fans well know, Jeff and Gage, who share 8-year-old daughter Monroe, have had an up-and-down relationship with one another since splitting in January 2019. Just last year, after describing their custody battle as “contentious,” Jeff compared himself to a “hostage.” Then, months later, he slammed Gage as “pathetic” for sharing a photo of Monroe on his Instagram page and accused him of using the child as an “accessory.”

Following the sharing of the news regarding Gage’s engagement to Scott, Reddit users shared their thoughts, with some suspecting that Jeff would “be extra crazy” this week. 

“This is going to be some good radio,” one person wrote.

But others mentioned that Jeff was a fan of Gage and Scott’s courtship.

“Jeff just said on Friday that he likes that Scott is with Gage for Monroe’s sake,” someone explained. “Jeff admitted that he and Scott were never a good fit, but that Scott is really a good person and really loves Monroe.”

It was also noted that Jeff seemed “very at peace” with their relationship.
