Kathy Hilton recently shared her thoughts on the much-anticipated 15th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during her annual holiday Pajama Party. The event, co-hosted by her daughter Nicky Hilton, took place at Kathy’s Bel-Air residence this past Tuesday.

As the trailer for the upcoming season made waves, the 66-year-old Hilton opened up about the intense drama that viewers can expect. While she assured fans that she steered clear of the chaos, Hilton described the on-screen tension among the cast as “brutal” and offered her perspective on the show’s newest addition, Rachel Zoe, who is 54.

“It’s pretty brutal,” Hilton candidly told Variety on November 4. “There’s no Kathy Hilton drama. I’m not really dramatic. All that drama makes me really sad. They’re all just very comfortable in saying whatever they want, and that’s what makes it brutal.”

The festive gathering, sponsored by QVC, was more than just a party. It included a holiday toy drive supporting the Los Angeles Mission, Yogi’s House, and Camp Crocker Rescue. Among the attendees were notable figures such as Denise Richards, 54, Sutton Stracke, 54, Crystal Kung Minkoff, 42, Faye Resnick, 68, and Heather Dubrow, 56. Hilton mentioned that she had been in contact with some cast members following the trailer’s debut.

As she was joined by guests, including Denise Richards, 54, Sutton Stracke, 54, Crystal Kung Minkoff, 42, Faye Resnick, 68, and Heather Dubrow, 56, at the QVC-presented event, which featured a holiday toy drive benefiting the Los Angeles Mission, Yogi’s House, and Camp Crocker Rescue, Kathy confirmed she’d heard from certain cast members after the trailer went live. 

“I had a couple of phone calls today from some of the girls [after they saw the trailer], let’s just put it that way,” she stated. “Some of them were like, ‘I can’t believe so-and-so did this.’”

As for newbie Rachel, Kathy said she “came in and fit right in.”

“I don’t think she caused any drama,” she added.

Then, as Nicky, 42, reflected on her appearance at the finale, saying the event “was very dramatic,” Kathy teased, “It was bru-tal!”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 premieres Thursday, December 4, at 8/7c on Bravo.
