Next Gen NYC Star Gia Giudice Discusses the Possibility of Antonia Gorga Joining the Show for Season 2 as Her Cast Mates Dish on the Future of the Series

Season one of Next Gen NYC recently wrapped, and there’s a strong belief that the show will return and that there will be versions focusing on other cities following its success with viewership. Now, Gia Giudice is weighing in and discussing the idea that her cousin, Antonia Gorga, could potentially join the series if it does get a second season.

In addition to Gia, 24, the first season of Next Gen NYC featured Riley Burruss, 22, Ariana Biermann, 23, Brooks Marks, 26, Charlie Zakkour, 29, Ava Dash, 25, Georgia McCann, 25, Emira D’Spain, 28, and more.

Some of the cast members from Next Gen NYC recently dished about the show to US Weekly, regarding what would have happened at the reunion if they’d had one, as well as the future of the show. When it came to Gia, the interviewers asked if she could see any cast changes, including Antonia potentially joining.

She responded, “If and when there’s a season 2, I think the cast will pretty much stay the same. Maybe they’ll add a couple more. You’ll just see the relationships form a little more hopefully, and we’ll get some more episodes.”

Regarding her cousin becoming a cast member on the show, Gia stated, “A lot of our scenes involve us going out for drinks. She doesn’t turn 21 for another year. I think it’s a different age bracket, but I wish her all the best, though.”

Of course, Gia’s comments come as the feud between Teresa Giudice, 53, and her brother, Joe Gorga, 50, and his wife, Melissa Gorga, 46, continues. As fans know, the two hardly interacted during season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and many cite their issues as one of the primary reasons the show hasn’t returned.

Ariana also reflected on the show to the outlet. She said, “I think there was a lot of unresolved stuff. Maybe if there is a season 2, then that’s where we will hash it out.” Regarding Brooks, he said that if they’d had a reunion, it would have been “extremely explosive.”

According to him, “There are a lot of things that are unresolved from the end of the season. Someone did remove himself from the group chat.” He then laughed when the interviewer subtly asked if the person he was referring to was Charlie.

When asked about the cast for the hypothetical season two of Next Gen NYC, Georgia said, “I feel like there’s always room to mix up the cast. Like, why not? It keeps things exciting. Maybe, like, another New Yorker. The male version of me would be really fun to have. I think everyone is interesting as it is.”

Both Brooks and Ariana want their siblings, Chloe Marks, 23, and Brielle Biermann, 28, to appear. Ariana explained, “I’d love to have her. She wasn’t able to come to New York. She and her fiancé are always traveling.”
