Gigi Hadid Expresses Distress Over Inclusion in Epstein Files: ‘Sick to My Stomach

Supermodel Gigi Hadid has expressed her deep disgust after discovering her name was mentioned in the infamous files of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In response to a fan’s comment on Instagram, which has since been deleted, Hadid shared, “It made me sick to my stomach.” The fan had indicated they might unfollow her due to the association.

Hadid further elaborated, stating, “It’s horrible to read someone you’ve never met speak about you in that way, especially in this context.” Her frustration was evident as she sought to clarify her position.

At 30, Hadid emphasized that she has “never in my life met the monster,” attributing her name’s inclusion in the files to Epstein’s manipulative tactics. She believes he often claimed to influence people’s careers as a means to control his victims.

The model decided to comment publicly, saying, “I didn’t comment because I don’t want to overshadow the stories of his real victims; but your comment made me realize that maybe it’s not clear—and it’s important to let you know.”

“I grew up privileged, yes. But my parents protected me and taught me the value of hard work, the same hard work that got them to this country and gave them careers,” Hadid added.

The mom of one then shared details about how her modeling career launched, including meeting with agencies before she turned 18 and signing with IMG in 2012.

“And I’ve worked hard every moment since. To be named in those files, I think I was 20-21 at the time he would have written that email- is disturbing, and I want to state unequivocally that I have never had any affiliation with that disgusting human being,” she wrote.

“May he rest in [fire emojis],” Hadid concluded.

The fan then told the Maybelline spokesmodel “that it was a “COMPLETE HONOR” to have her reply, to which Hadid responded: “💖💖 sending love thanks for your support x.”

After the Department of Justice (DOJ) released millions of Epstein files, Gigi and her sister Bella Hadid’s names were mentioned in a December 2015 email exchange between the late financier and an individual whose name was redacted.

“How did the Hadid sisters became [sic] models and make so much money?! I don’t understand,” the unknown person wrote to Epstein.

“You know,” the late pedophile replied before the unnamed individual claimed the models’ father, Mohamed Hadid, “paid the agency.”

Epstein replied, “No.”

The person whose name was redacted then claimed “there are too many girls giving blowjobs,” to which Epstein responded: “agreed.”

Following a 2005 investigation, Epstein pleaded guilty to procuring a child for prostitution and soliciting a prostitute, serving 13 months with work release.

He was charged in 2019 with sex trafficking of minors and accused of abusing dozens of underage girls. Epstein died by suicide in jail that year while awaiting trial.

His right-hand woman, Ghislaine Maxwell, is currently serving 20 years for sex trafficking.
