Fans of dating shows and drama have been drawn to Bravo’s Love Hotel, which features four women — Shannon Beador, Luann De Lesseps, Gizelle Bryant, and Ashley Darby — from The Real Housewives franchise on their quest to find love. If the recent episode involving Bryant is anything to go by, then a large budget has been set aside for dates: her taco outing was one of the most memorable and expensive foodie dates we have witnessed on reality TV.

Bryant picked contestant Jason “Jay” Bramble for the date, which included tequila tasting and tacos worth $25,000. She loved the food, but was less enthusiastic about her companion, describing him as “boring.”

In the premiere episode of Love Hotel, which is filmed at the luxurious The Grand Velas Hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico, fans watched Bryant and Bramble get to know each other better over a meal of tacos. But it was not just any taco because this creation was a culinary work of art, complete with a gold-leaf finish.

When it was presented to them, both of their mouths dropped with Bryant exclaiming, “I don’t believe that.” The server revealed that the taco included lobster and A5 Kobe beef from Japan, and Bryant remarked on how she saw caviar. She followed up with a statement that suggested the night would be a success. “I’m about to fall in love tonight, okay? Caviar is my jam!” she declared.

“It’s so beautiful you don’t even want to eat it,” Jay added. “I can get used to this!” Luckily for Jay, the show paid the bill.

During their dinner date, Bryant told Bramble what she was looking for in a partner. “Transparency, accountability, and sexually proficient,” she said. But they are unlikely to have found their fairytale ending. “So Jay’s in the middle of like, ‘do I want to bang him or do I just want to get to know him better?'” Bryant said in a confessional. “Because yes, he’s attractive, but he’s just not turning on juices for Gizelle to feel like, ‘This is it! Let me get it on.’ He’s just a little boring.”

But Gizelle is passionate about her inclusion in the show and has posted about it on Instagram. Her most recent posting showed her looking stunning in a sparkly pink dress.

In the caption, she encouraged fans to tune in to Love Hotel. “A time was had at the LOVE HOTEL PREMIERE PARTY! @bravotv Sunday nights are (fire),” she wrote.
