Jack Nicholson’s grandson, Sean Knight Nicholson, has been arrested for domestic violence.

Sean, 29, was booked in Los Angeles for a felony on Tuesday, August 5, according to police records viewed by Us Weekly. He was released that same day with a bail of $50,000.

Sean is scheduled to appear in court later this month on August 26.

The Sun reported on Thursday, August 7, that Sean has been accused of attacking a woman and was arrested for domestic violence.

Us has reached out to Jack and the Los Angeles Police Department for comment.

Sean is Jack’s eldest grandson. His parents are Jennifer Nicholson and Mark Norfleet. Jennifer and Norfleet, who were married from 1997 to 2003, also share son Duke.

Sean is a music producer who specializes in horror composition, experimental club, hardcore, dark ambient and phonk genres, according to his Instagram page. He is also a DJ who goes by the stage name Cutter Mattock.

Jack, 88, is the father of six children, whom he welcomed with five different women. The actor was married only once to ex-wife Sandra Knight from 1962 to 1968. During their marriage, they welcomed Jennifer in September 1963.

Following his split from Knight, Jack allegedly had a fling with his Five Easy Pieces costar Susan Anspach that resulted in the birth of his second child, Caleb Goddard. However, Jack has not publicly acknowledged his paternity.

Jack also dated model Winnie Hollman for five years. The pair welcomed daughter Honey Hollman in 1982. Honey has three children Walter, 14; Hank, 8; and Daisy, 13.

One of Jack’s most public relationships was with actress Rebecca Broussard. The duo had an affair during his 17-year relationship with Anjelica Huston, which resulted in the arrival of their first child together, daughter Lorraine Nicholson, in 1990. Two years later, Jack and Broussard welcomed son Ray Nicholson. Jack and Broussard called it quits in 1993.

In 2023, Tessa Gourin, whose mother is waitress Jennine Gourin, claimed in an interview that Jack is her biological father. The actor has not confirmed the paternity of Tessa.

While Jack is an A-List movie star, he has opted to live his life outside of the spotlight in recent years.
