Rapper Pooh Shiesty faces serious charges, accused of kidnapping and robbing Gucci Mane and others at gunpoint.

According to the Department of Justice, Pooh Shiesty, legally known as Lontrell Williams Jr., along with eight accomplices, traveled to Dallas, Texas, allegedly with the intent to kidnap and rob individuals who believed they were attending a legitimate business meeting.

Federal prosecutors claim that the rapper, famous for his hit “Back in Blood,” orchestrated a meeting on January 10 under the pretense of discussing his recording contract. However, this meeting reportedly turned into an armed robbery planned in advance by Shiesty and his associates.

The complaint states that Pooh Shiesty brandished an AK-style weapon, compelling one victim to terminate their recording contract under duress. His alleged partners in crime also drew firearms, stealing luxury items such as Rolex watches, jewelry, cash, and other valuables from the victims.

Rodney Wright Jr., who performs under the name Big30, is accused of preventing the victims’ escape by blocking the exit.

All nine defendants are charged with kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

If convicted, they could face a sentence of up to life in prison.

Page Six reached out to Gucci Mane’s rep for comment, but didn’t receive an immediate response.

Gucci Mane — whose real name is Radric Ravis — has yet to comment on the alleged kidnapping and robbery.
