Hailey Bieber, 28, seems to have confirmed her attendance at fashion’s biggest night of the year, channeling Anna Wintour, 75, in the same vintage Gucci dress the Vogue editor-in-chief wore in 1998.

Ahead of a weekend full of pre-Met parties, the Rhode founder landed in New York City yesterday, making a bold fashion statement just hours after her arrival.

Bieber hit up Cafe Zaffri in Union Square, clad in the icy blue minidress from the Italian fashion house’s spring 1998 collection, designed by Tom Ford.

The beauty entrepreneur’s stylist, Dani Michelle, confirmed the inspiration on her Instagram Story, and sourced the archival number from The RealList, a vintage boutique beloved by celebrities. 

Bieber grounded the colorful creation with light beige accessories, including a clutch from The Row and Gianvitto Rossi heels ($702 $491).

The model carried the viral lip phone case ($38), and peptide lip treatment ($18) secured on the back from her Rhode beauty brand, just in case she needed a quick touch-up during her evening out.

Michelle shared the side-by-side looks on her Instagram Story, writing “icons only” over a photo of Wintour in the gown.

The Met Gala co-chair wore the dress at the US Embassy cocktail party in Paris, where she was joined by late fashion editor André Leon Talley.

Meanwhile, legendary actress Helen Hunt rocked a custom version of the pastel gown at the Oscars in 1998.

Michelle shared the viral street style moment on her Instagram page, also captioning the picture “icons only @haileybieber”

“This is the best look of all time” one follow emphasized. Another said, “Hailey officially owns this color 🩵😍”

A third wrote, “It’s giving Sandra bullock in Miss congeniality,” referring to the lavender Herve Leger bandage dress the actress wore in the hit 2000 film.

The last time Bieber attended the Met Gala was in 2022, which was themed “In America: An Anthology of Fashion.”

She dropped jaws in a white silk Saint Laurent gown and feather jacket, which was inspired by model Jerry Hall’s look on the YSL spring/summer 2002 runway. She previously attended with husband Justin Bieber in 2021 and the five years previous.
