Harry Styles has undergone a notable shift in perspective.
His latest track, “Aperture,” is filled with energetic lyrics celebrating the joy of discovering a new, secure love.
Released this Friday, the song marks the debut single from the Grammy winner’s forthcoming album, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally,” and it focuses on the theme of “letting the light in.”
According to Merriam-Webster, an aperture is defined as “the opening in a photographic lens that admits the light.”
In the song’s chorus, Styles passionately sings, “We belong together / It finally appears, it’s only love.”
The former One Direction member, 31, goes on to sing in the bridge, “I won’t stray from it / I don’t know these spaces / Time won’t wait on me / I wanna know what safe is.”
It is unclear whether the song provides insight into his current relationship with Zoë Kravitz, as it was likely written before the duo were first spotted together in August 2025.
However, Styles appeared to nod to the romance while chatting to BBC Radio 1 listeners about the inspiration behind “Aperture” on Thursday.
“I’ve had a lot of big realizations,” he explained. “I’ve generally opened up more to the world and allowed some more positive things to come into my life.”
Kravitz, 37, could be heard laughing in the background of the same interview as Styles discussed the album’s title, which he referred to as a “life’s mantra.”
The “X Factor” alum said, “It’s unhealthy to disco all the time so loving and moving through your life with love and then taking a break every now and again to have some fun is a really good way to approach your life. I feel like that’s what I did for the last couple of years and it led to positive changes in my life.
“You can probably stop [kissing] to eat and stuff — definitely an extended lunch break — and then right back to it,” Styles quipped.
Speculation about Styles releasing new music for the first time in four years started earlier this month when fans noticed the songwriter’s cryptic clues, and he confirmed rumors with an Instagram album announcement last week.
Page Six recently reported that Styles landed his second Madison Square Garden residency — and news broke Thursday that he will perform 30 shows in the Big Apple between August and October.
While Zoë has not publicly reacted to her partner’s new music, her dad, Lenny Kravitz, commented a heart emoji when Styles shared news of his fourth record.
The actress has been dating Styles since last summer and considers him her “soulmate,” we hear.
A source told us the connection is “different” than what Zoë felt with ex-husband Karl Glusman and ex-fiancé Channing Tatum.
Styles, for his part, has been romantically linked to “Lost in Space” alum Taylor Russell and musician Olivia Dean in recent years.
Two months prior to stepping out with Zoë, Styles kissed a woman named Ella Kenny on the dance floor at the Glastonbury Festival — although their “good time in the moment” didn’t “evolve into anything.”
