Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika Kirk (née Frantzve), is mourning her husband’s death at the age of 31.

“The world is evil. But our Savior. Our Lord. Our God. Не is so good. I will never have the words. Ever,” Erika, 36, wrote via Instagram on Friday, September 12. “The sound of this widow weeping echoes throughout this world like a battle cry. I have no idea what any of this means. But baby, I know you do and so does our Lord.”

She continued, “They have no idea what they just ignited within this wife. If they thought my husband’s mission was big now … you have no idea. You. All of you. Will never. Ever. Forget my husband @charliekirk1776. I’ll make sure of it.”

Erika concluded her upload with a message to Charlie directly.

“Rest in the arms of our Lord, baby, as he blankets you with the words I know your heart always strived to hear, ‘Well done, My good and faithful servant,’” she wrote.

Erika also shared a handful of photos of herself sitting beside Charlie’s casket, holding his hand. In another slide, Erika was pictured crying after her late husband’s coffin was carried off of Air Force One.

Charlie, a conservative political activist, died earlier this week after being shot during a speaking engagement in Utah.

“It’s with a heavy heart that we, the Turning Point USA leadership team, write to notify you that early this afternoon, Charlie went to his eternal reward with Jesus Christ in Heaven,” Charlie’s organization wrote in a Wednesday, September 10, statement.

Charlie is survived by Erika and the couple’s two children.

Erika broke her silence on Charlie’s death two days after his passing, tearfully speaking during a live stream on his X account.

“Charlie loved life. He loved his life, he loved America, he loved nature which always helped him [feel] closer to God,” Erika said earlier on Friday. “He loved the Chicago Cubs and my goodness did he love the Oregon Ducks. Most of all, Charlie loved his children and he loved me with all of his heart and I knew that everyday. He made sure I knew that every day.”

She added, “Every day he would ask me, ‘How can I serve you better? How can I be a better husband? How can I be a better father?’ … He was such a good man. He still is such a good man. He was the perfect father. He was the perfect husband.”

A public memorial for Charlie will be held Sunday, September 21, at Arizona’s State Farm Stadium.
