Hilaria Baldwin is admitting it “bothers” her when paparazzi follow her while she’s doing mundane day-to-day tasks.

On Wednesday, July 16, Baldwin took to Instagram to share a video of herself running on the beach. According to Baldwin, she was working out when she said she noticed paparazzi in a car following her.

“I had a paparazzi chasing me in a car while I was on foot going for my run,” the mom of 7 said as she continued to run.

“I don’t know why it bothers me, right? Man in car chasing woman on foot. Feels like it should be not okay,” Baldwin, 41, added, before taking matters into her own hands.

“Anyway, I came to make lemonade to somewhere beautiful, took my shoes off, running in the sand, finishing my run,” Baldwin, who is married to actor Alec Baldwin, said, as Micheal Jackson’s “Will You Be There” began to play.

“We’ll see if he figures out where I’m gonna exit the beach. They figure these things out pretty easily. So, but until this point, I have at least like one point against him. Let’s see if he catch me over here. Love you guys, bye.”

In the comment section, a fan asked Baldwin “how did it end? Did you dodge him or did he figure it out?”

“I think I dodged him,” Baldwin responded to that commenter. “I didn’t see him at the exit. We shall see what shows up in the tabloids if he was hiding somewhere 😂. I’m pretty good at spotting them, but every once in a while, I miss one.”

Baldwin also responded to a comment asking why she “insists on filming and posting” herself “if you don’t want the papa chasing you?”

“Because it’s on my terms,” Baldwin wrote. “I should be able to share myself without being chased by a car. I’ve made some peace with certain paparazzi, who behave safer and kinder. Saying this to me is like telling a woman she’s asking for harassing attention because of just existing, walking down the street. I have experience with both, so I know. I exist, I like to share myself with my community, I like to be creative and play. That’s not asking to be chased by a weird grown man in a car.”

“I was on the road…went to the beach because he couldn’t. That’s my lemonade,” she continued, adding, “(By the way,) I’m glad you made this point. I don’t know if I would have understood my comment response to you, if I didn’t live this reality. I really get why you ask.”
