Hulu’s latest reality TV series takes viewers behind the scenes of the world of supermodels in New York City. Season 1 of Love Thy Nader just came out last month, and it follows the four Nader siblings (spearheaded by eldest sister Brooks) as they each try to navigate their careers in a tumultuous industry.
Beyond the modeling world, another major part of the reality TV series is the sisters’ love lives. Each of them is in the middle of their own relationship throughout the season—and some suffer through bad breakups. For one of the sisters, however, her relationship appears to be the most solid of the bunch, and it also comes with a surprising connection to the royal family.
Mary Holland’s Boyfriend Is Friends With Prince Harry
The Naders’ connection to the British royal family is an unexpected one. Of the four siblings, the second-eldest daughter, Mary Holland, has a boyfriend who has brushed shoulders with the royals before. In fact, he’s a Viscount himself—Mary Holland’s boyfriend is Viscount Julian Erleigh, also known as Jules to those closest to him.
Though Jules comes across as very quiet and humble, his pedigree would indicate otherwise. Following his family lineage, he is set to become the next Marquess of Reading once his father passes.
News outlet My London reported on a list of viscounts who are friends with Princes William and Harry, and Mary Holland’s boyfriend was on that list. The article explained how close Jules was to Prince Harry in particular, including the fact that he once played a part in his love life:
Julian arguably spends more time with royalty than any other Viscount mentioned. He has holidayed with multiple royals including ‘secret trips to Cornwall’ with Prince William and Harry. The 36-year-old even played matchmaker for his close friend Harry by setting him up with ex Chelsy Davy in 2004.
The outlet also noted that Julian was considered one of “the most well-connected viscounts in the land.”
Jules Seems To Be Accepted By The Naders
As of now, Jules and Mary Holland have been together for a little over a year, and it appears that things are going well for the pair. Mary Holland told the cameras that she and Jules had been friends for two years before getting into a relationship, and that now she’s “obsessed” with her partner. Despite his British roots, Jules now lives in New York, where he works as Senior Vice President of European Equity Sales for the investment bank Jefferies, meaning he’s close to his girlfriend and her sisters in the city.
The Naders come from humble beginnings, growing up in Louisiana in a small house before Brooks was able to move most of the family to New York with the money she’d earned from modeling. A big question surrounding Mary Holland and Jules’ relationship was whether he would be able to assimilate into their family, and in Episode 4, he surprises Mary Holland by coming to Baton Rouge to celebrate Easter with the Naders’ extended family.
Mary Holland tells the cameras that she’s unsure whether her royal boyfriend will be able to “hang” during the family crawfish boil, but he ends up fitting in seamlessly. Her parents also note that they like Jules and appreciate the way that he can roll with the punches of their otherwise crazy family.
Eldest sister Brooks explained that their parents tend to get “attached” to the boyfriends they bring home, which is exactly what happened with her ex-husband, whom she was with for nearly ten years before their divorce. In the same episode, she even noticed that her parents still had images of her wedding up on the wall, a symbol of how much they still hung onto the relationship.
That said, Brooks told the cameras that she did believe Jules had truly earned his acceptance into the family:
I think Jules, he’s definitely a crawfish out of water. But Jules can definitely hang.
Jules proved himself by peeling and eating his first crawfish that weekend, as well as managing the drama of the four Nader sisters as they bickered. As of now, it appears that he and Mary Holland are still together, and he makes the occasional appearance on his girlfriend’s social media.

Love Thy Nader is an upcoming reality docuseries premiering this summer on Hulu and Freeform. Produced by Jimmy Kimmel’s Kimmelot and Smoking Baby Productions, the show follows Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model Brooks Nader and her three younger sisters—Mary Holland, Grace Ann, and Sarah Jane—as they transition from their hometown in Louisiana to the competitive modeling scene in New York City. The series offers an inside look at their glamorous lives, navigating high-profile fashion campaigns, elite social circles, and the dynamics of sisterhood.
Described as a coming-of-age journey, Love Thy Nader delves into themes of ambition, resilience, and family bonds. The Nader sisters, each pursuing their own modeling careers, lean on one another for support and inspiration. Brooks, who has also competed on Dancing with the Stars, serves as a role model for her siblings, encouraging them to dream big and achieve success in the fashion industry. Set against the backdrop of SoHo lofts and Manhattan’s elite social scene, the series explores what it truly means to “make it” in a city where dreams can either flourish or fade.
