Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth got off to a rocky start right from the beginning. As we know, the pair met while filming the “Last Song” in 2009. Within a year, the couple had already broken up. In August 2010, reps for Cyrus and Hemsworth revealed that the two had called off their relationship, per Insider. But, this breakup didn’t last too long because, by the next month, the couple was already running back to one another, per People. The two were spotted on a night out, and a source revealed how happy Cyrus was to have Hemsworth at her side. “With Liam back in her life … she acted totally different and, instead, seemed very happy,” they said. “It looked like Miley and Liam had never been apart, and they were back into their old routine.”

However, their “old routine” also included another breakup. In November 2010, the couple called it quits again. A source shared, “Their on- and off-again relationship is currently off.” The source also stated that there wasn’t any “drama” in the breakup and the two just drifted apart. “But you never know with Miley and Liam. They could be back on at some point,” the insider added. And they were right!
