Are Teresa Giudice, Jackie Goldschneider, and Jennifer Fessler “still in consideration” for the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey? An insider is speaking out after the three ladies did not test-film with co-stars.

Meanwhile, Margaret Josephs and Dolores Catania made cryptic posts seemingly hinting at their own return to the show, as fans reacted.

Recently, an insider shared that Margaret, Dolores, and Melissa Gorga were the only veteran co-stars to test film with potential newbies for the new season. One report claimed that Bravo was likely moving on without Teresa, the only original star left.

“Some of The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast have test-filmed,” said an insider speaking to Us Weekly. “There are potential new cast members who filmed with Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania and Melissa Gorga in mid-August … They want to see how the new girls work on camera with some veteran cast members from the show.”

According to the outlet, they’re looking at Michelle Barone as a potential newbie. Social media says Michelle is a podcast host who’s friendly with Teresa and Jackie.

Though Teresa, Jen Fessler, and Jackie didn’t test film, the source claimed they “are still in consideration to be part of the new season … No official casting decisions have been made.”

Meanwhile, Margaret shared a photo sparking speculation about her own return. In the image, Margaret is imitating the evil laugh of the Wicked Witch of the West in front of a poster of the character.

“Current mood,” she wrote in the caption, along with the hashtag, “#thewitchisback.”

Around the same time, Dolores posted a photo of herself in a sweatshirt that said, “Welcome back scumbag.”

Fans then reacted to the posts, and @krissyballs shared some of their comments on her Instagram.

“Will be the end of the show,” wrote one fan.

“Let’s go!” wrote another in disagreement.

“On [her] Let’s Sprinkle IG, Melissa said ‘something new is dropping soon.’ Maybe it’s a new cookie flavor that is dropping and it coincides with her announcing her return to NJ,” speculated a different user.

The new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is expected to film soon.
