The owner of Dorit Kemsley and Paul “PK” Kemsley‘s $6.5 million marital home in Encino, California has been revealed.

Days after Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Dorit’s divorce filing, which seemed to be prompted by PK’s public make-out with Shana Wall, 50, attorney Ronald Richards has shared new details in regard to the status of their home and the potential legal battle the couple could be headed for.

In an Instagram post shared by Ronald on April 30, he suggested Dorit, 48, was the owner as he revealed the Encino property was “conveyed to an LLC managed by Dorit,” and he noted that her and PK’s assets were essentially frozen due to their impending divorce.

The attorney also stated that any income generated from RHOBH was considered “community property” and added that Dorit could be forced to pay his attorney fees.

While Dorit requested spousal support, as well as sole legal and physical custody of her and PK’s two children, 11-year-old Jagger and nine-year-old Phoenix, in her divorce filing last week, PK could reportedly request support from her — and get his hands on her Bravo salary.

According to reports, Dorit is believed to be worth tens of millions and earns about $100,000 per season from her role on RHOBH. Meanwhile, as she also gets paid for the many partnerships she makes, it is less clear what PK, who previously filed for bankruptcy, is worth.

“I think Dorit’s salary is highly visible and PK has passive investments,” Ronald explained to The U.S. Sun on April 30. “If they are not produced, it may subject her to a spousal support award. Any housewives IP [intellectual property] is community property. If PK doesn’t have cash, Dorit could even have to pay for his attorney.”

Although Ronald believes Dorit would be awarded child support since the kids spend most of their time with her and PK is often away traveling, he also feels she may have been “strategic” in waiting until after the 10-year mark in their marriage to file.

“If a marriage is considered a long time, then the court retains jurisdiction to award spousal support forever, and the cut-off is ten years,” Ronald explained. “There is a policy that spouses have to work and Dorit works so the court always has discretion to depart but these presumptions dramatically affect a divorce in California.”

As Ronald confirmed, Dorit could request maximum spousal support, or lifetime payments, from PK.

Ronald went on to state that Dorit and PK may need to sell the Encino home, which went into pre-foreclosure last year before the couple ultimately got caught up on their missed payments.

During last month’s RHOBH reunion, Dorit admitted that she “had no idea” that their home was facing foreclosure.

“[PK] told me that they changed the rate, he was trying to get a hold of somebody, no one was returning his calls — that’s the way he does business,” she stated. “Until they give him his call back, he’s not going to pay. He resolved it. Listen, they ended up calling. That’s what he said.”
