Is A Healthier Dynamic Ahead For Michelle And Jesse In Season 3 of The Valley?

Season 2 of The Valley ended on shaky ground, with the cast divided more than ever. Brittany Cartwright officially filed for divorce from Jax Taylor, Kristen Doute and Janet Caperna’s friendship unraveled amid a damaging rumor involving her husband, Jason Caperna, and Danny Booko was forced to confront a disturbing allegation about his behavior while drinking excessively.

Season 2 also took a deeper dive into Michelle Saniei and Jesse Lally’s turbulent separation. Their split was marked by explosive moments, including Jesse accusing his estranged wife of being a hooker and sleeping with billionaires for money. Meanwhile, Michelle made efforts to move on, introducing viewers to her new boyfriend, Aaron Nosler.

Despite the tension, the season finale ended on a somewhat hopeful note: Jesse and Michelle appeared to set aside their anger and reach a long-overdue resolution.

Tension Eases Between Jesse Lally And Michelle Saniei On The Valley Season 2 Finale

While The Valley Season 2 put a spotlight on Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor’s messy and often turbulent relationship, it also heavily focused on the unraveling of Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei’s marriage.

Throughout the season, the former couple struggled to even be in the same room together, frequently speaking poorly about one another to their shared friends. It was even more difficult for Jesse to move on as he remained convinced that Michelle’s new boyfriend, Aaron Nosler, was the reason behind their split.

It wasn’t until Episode 15 — the finale episode of Season 2 — that fans finally saw some sort of resolution and peace between this former couple. Sharing a young daughter named Isabella, it was finally time that these two put their differences aside and find a healthy way to co-parent her.

In a scene in which Michelle is at Jesse’s home, the two sit down to discuss how they can coexist without always fighting and bickering. “I want to be friends with you, I’ve always said that,” Michelle tells Jesse. “It’s just that it’s hard because I can’t trust you, and you can’t expect to treat me a certain way, call me names, and the apologize and pretend it didn’t happen,” she shared.

A teary-eyed Jesse then replied, “We both are trying to win and one up each other, and I think whatever power I have left I like give it to you to do whatever you want with it, say whatever you want about me, because I’m just so tired.”

When Michelle adds that Jesse believes their divorce is “her fault,” he adds, “The divorce isn’t your fault, it’s our fault.”

“I take full accountability for the things that I did to pur pressure on our relationship. It wasn’t your fault,” Jesse admits.

In a confessional, Michelle shares, “This is the first time Jesse is taking accountability. Today is the best first step I can ask for.”

Michelle invites Jesse to her “Zen party,” and at the start of the event, she tells the group that if she and Jesse can finally find common ground, so can the rest of the group. But, of course, the zen party turned out to be nothing but heated confrontations and the cast more divided than they were at the start of the summer.

Jesse Struggled To Move On From Michelle’s Alleged Betrayal

In addition to spreading a vile rumor that Michelle had been sleeping with a billionaire for money, or even working as a hooker, Jesse was adamant that her boyfriend, Aaron, was the man she had been cheating on him with.

Throughout the season, Jesse tried to put pieces together that made him believe that Michelle was being unfaithful. He recalled moments like when she would go on solo hikes, or noticing that Aaron’s honey company was stored in his kitchen cabinets while they were married.

While the cast was on a trip to Maui, Jesse finally confronts Aaron, wanting to get to the bottom of things and possibly clear his head. “Did you or did you not cross a line when I was married to Michelle? Emotional, physical, in any way, did you cross the line?” Jesse asked Aaron.

“No, absolutely not,” Aaron told Jesse, adding that he and Michelle “would run into each other all the time,” but they never had a physical relationship. However, Jesse still didn’t get the answer he was hoping for.

“I’m thinking, this is bulls***. In my heart of hearts, I 1000% think they had a physical and emotional relationship before we separated. How else do you explain having a boyfriend two weeks after we separated, while still living in my house?” He said in a confessional.

But, towards the end of the season, Jesse appeared to be okay with sharing the same room with Aaron, and Michelle even showed their daughter, Isabella, a photo of Jesse and Aaron hugging during their Hawaii trip.

Michelle And Aaron Nosler Have Reportedly Split After One Year Of Dating

Just days after the finale of The Valley Season 2, Bravo reported that Michelle and Aaron officially split after just a year of dating.

“We can confirm that Michelle and Aaron have parted ways. And Michelle is focusing on her daughter, work, and taking care of herself as she navigates this new chapter in her life.”

It was a shocking turn of events given that Michelle was adamant about remarrying, with that person being Aaron. In May, she also shared that they had thought about living with one another.

“I lived on my own for a year… and my lease is up. And we had spent a lot of time at Aaron’s house, and we like to make dinners and stuff. So, you know, our relationship is strong, and we want to take it to the next step. So, we thought this is a time to move in together.”

The source also noted that Michelle was living with Aaron at the time of their breakup. In a teaser for the upcoming Season 2 reunion, Michelle shares that she and Aaron were living together at his home. When host Andy Cohen asked Michelle how living with Aaron was going, she shared, “Amazing.”

But, now that the two are no longer together, does this mean we could see Michelle and Jesse have somewhat of an even better relationship and co-parenting relationship?

Part 1 of the three-part reunion for The Valley will air on Bravo on Tuesday, July 29 at 8 p.m. ET/PT
