Britney Spears and boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz have reportedly been off and on for years. Neither the pop star nor the former maintenance worker have publicly addressed their relationship, but the two have been spotted out together in between split reports, hinting that they rekindled their romance more than once.

Britney and Paul were spotted with two of his nine children at an indoor playground in the San Fernando Valley in California on February 4, 2025, hinting that they were still together, according to photos published by TMZ.

The images showed the “Toxic” singer sitting in a black Mercedes Benz G-Wagon — the same vehicle that Britney reportedly bought Paul early on in their romance — outside Lily Pad Playground. Eyewitnesses told the outlet that Britney had been riding in the passenger side of the car while Paul drove.

While inside the indoor playground, Britney was reportedly overheard telling people, “These aren’t my kids,” sources told the outlet. She also reportedly paid the bill for the playtime.

The outing comes four months after a source exclusively told In Touch that “people are expecting Paul to propose soon” amid his divorce from estranged wife Nicole Mancilla.

Though Britney’s family has expressed concern about Paul’s criminal record, the insider added that her off-on partner “always weasels his way back in. Paul has taken on the job of Brit’s social media manager, and now he has some of his kids living at her house.”

The source continued, “Britney has her blinders on. Unless someone can talk her out of this, Paul’s going to be the next Kevin Federline, only 10 times worse.”

Britney and Paul seemingly first crossed paths when he was hired as a housekeeper and maintenance worker at her California home in 2022. His daily tasks included “cleaning toilets, mopping floors and picking up trash,” according to Page Six. However, Paul was reportedly fired once Britney’s team discovered his criminal record.

Rumors about Britney and Paul’s relationship first began to swirl in August 2023, shortly after her ex-husband Sam Asghari filed for divorce.

The first report about Britney and Paul breaking up came soon after their relationship rumors began.

“Britney and Paul have gone their separate ways,” an insider told Us Weekly in September 2023. “It was a short-lived romance but nothing serious and they’re no longer together.”

However, a source later told the outlet in February 2024 that the two were “definitely together.” The couple was spotted a few months later, driving around and dodging paparazzi photos in April 2024.

One month later, news broke that authorities had been called to the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles, California, after guests expressed concern for Britney following a fight she had with Paul. TMZ reported at the time that the “Circus” hitmaker was “out of control, crying, possibly cut, and almost driven away in an ambulance.”

Britney claimed on May 2, 2024, one day after the alleged fight, that “the news is fake.”

“Most of the pics are body doubles and I think most know that !!! I would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger everyday!! Truth sucks so can someone teach me how to lie???” she wrote in an Instagram post that was quickly deleted. “Goddesses out there, I’m reaching my higher power and furthermore, I hope you guys are too !!! Britney later added, “I also twisted my ankle and paramedics showed up at my door illegally. They never came in my room but I felt completely harassed. I’m moving to Boston!! Peace.”

The couple’s latest split reports came in July 2024, when Britney slammed Paul in since-deleted social media posts.

“Why was he going 90 [m.p.h.] in a neighborhood with one pap following only to roll the window down when the pap pulls to the side of me??” she wrote, sharing one of their April 2024 paparazzi photos. “Then he calls his mom and says he’s being harassed. Why did he roll the window down with me crying in the seat???”

Britney hinted at her breakup with another cryptic post of a quote that read, “Her attitude is savage, but her heart is gold.” In the caption, she added that she was “single as f–k” and would “never be with another man as long as I live.”

A source exclusively told In Touch days later that Paul had been “using” Britney.

“She had fun with him, but she realizes that she can’t trust everyone,” the insider added.
