In June 2021, Brooke Shields decided to get a matching tattoo with her daughter Rowan Francis Henchy in celebration of her high school graduation.
On an Instagram post, the 57-year-old Brooke flaunted the matching tattoos with a caption saying, “A special graduation gift and memory with my girl. I’m so proud of you, I love you more than words can say.”
The tattoos were a pair of little red ladybugs that the supermodel got on her wrist and her daughter decided to place hers on her ankle.
The mother-daughter duo got their matching tattoos at Stefano’s Tattoo Studio located in New York City as they stood at the front of the studio with smiles all over their faces while showing off their ink.
The Pretty Baby actress is married to Chris Henchy and has two children together.
It turns out though that other celebrities have taken the same route of getting matching tattoos with their children.

Courteney shared a post on January 18th on her Instagram marking their 2023 New Year celebration with a picture of matching tattoos together with her Hollywood ride-or-die friend and their children. Coco Arquette, Courteney’s 18-year-old daughter, and Laura’s children, Jaya and Ellery Harper posed in a group photo together with their famous parents to show the world the similar tattoos they each got on their arm apart from Coco who decided to get it on her back shoulder.
The Friends star captioned the post saying, “Adding a new layer to our 16-year Christmas Eve tradition. Watch out… we might have sleeves by 2025.”

Another celebrity who decided to get matching tattoos with her family is Kyra Sedgwick. According to Today, during an interview with The Late Late Show with James Corden, Kyra was asked if she’s inked anywhere on her body. The actress revealed that an idea came to her mind when she was walking with her husband Kevin Bacon and their children to go get dinner. The idea was for them to get drunk and go get tattoos, but she added to say that it was a total joke.

Well, the rest of the family did not take it as a joke. She revealed that once they got to the restaurant, her husband Kevin started sketching, probably looking for an idea of what the family tattoo would be like.
Kyra’s idea might have taken time to be fruitful, but then she said on the show, “A couple of years later, we all got our tattoos. So we have a family tattoo with all of our initials on it.”
What started as an idea for the Bacon family, ended up being a creative family tattoo that will forever have a beautiful memory stuck to it.

He got inked the same motivational quote his father got on his right arm which read, “I DECLARE I have the grace I need for today. I am full of power, strength, and determination. It’s clear to see Madonna has some deep spiritual connection with the Kabbalah symbol, and she’s making sure to pass down this knowledge to her children.
