Emmerdale actress Paula Lane has announced that she is pregnant with her third child. The ITV soap star announced the exciting news to her followers on social media. The actress, who portrays Ella Forster in Emmerdale, uploaded an adorable snap of her baby scan, along with special cards meant for her older children. She added the caption: “Some special news to share from us @sirtomshaw. Christmas just got a bit more magical. Our baby boy due December 2025.” She is already the proud parent of two young children with her partner, Tom. She also added Alison Goldfrapp’s song Hey Hi Hello as her post’s backing track.

Many of her followers flooded the comments section with warm words of congratulations. One person said: “Aaaaah well isn’t that a little exciting – huge congratulations.”

Another person also commented: “CONGRATULATIONS. HOORAY!!! Now I can tell everyone. so much love to you Tom and the children. can’t wait for Christmas cuddles xxxx.”

A third also chimed in: “Best news! Massive congratulations to you all! So exciting.” Amy Walsh, known for playing Tracy Metcalfe, also said: “Congratulations lovely.”

Danny Miller, known for his role as Aaron Dingle, also typed: “Congratulations guys.”

Samia Longchambon, who portrays Maria Connor on Coronation Street, also said: “Ah congratulations to you all Paula!” Paula used to be on Coronation Street as Kylie Platt.

On Corrie, Paula’s character, Kylie, made her on-screen debut in August 2010. She formed a significant bond with David Platt (Jack Shepherd) and eventually became his wife.

In 2016, her character was tragically killed off when she was fatally stabbed and died in David’s arms. Paula joined Emmerdale last year in the role of Ella Forster.
