Olivia Jean, the wife of well-known White Stripes guitarist Jack White, has reportedly initiated divorce proceedings after being married for four years.
On June 3, Jean, 36, filed the divorce documents, as revealed by Us Weekly. The goth rock musician marked their official separation date coincidentally on the day of the filing. In her submission, she stated that White, 50, is at fault for “inappropriate marital conduct,” rendering continued living together as “unsafe and improper.”
Additionally, Jean has requested spousal support, indicating her reliance on White’s earnings for her financial obligations, as detailed by the publication. She has also sought to remain a beneficiary on his life insurance policy despite their impending divorce.
The couple, who exchanged vows in 2022, were last publicly seen together in April.
