Scheana Shay’s shocking revelation that Brock Davies cheated on her while pregnant resonated with Jana Kramer.
“My ex cheated on me when I was pregnant with Jolie and Jace,” Kramer, 41, claimed on the Monday, July 21, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Whine Down” podcast. “But he wasn’t saying I have something to tell you. That’s different to me. That’s a piece where it doesn’t make it right at all. But there’s a piece of accountability that I appreciate when a cheater does admit wrongdoing before.”
During the show, Kramer read some headlines about Shay’s new book, My Good Side. In the memoir and her Us Weekly cover story, the Vanderpump Rules alum, 40, recalled the moment her husband confessed to cheating when she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer Moon, 4.
When Kramer’s cohost acknowledged that the headlines feel “very close to home,” Kramer agreed before giving a little bit of credit to Davies, 35, for sharing his bad behavior before it was leaked.
“It does not make it right. It does not make it OK. It’s none of that,” Kramer said. “But that is a different person to me as opposed to the person that is only semi-honest because I will never believe — again, just from my own personal trauma — that someone who cheated then got caught is then going to be honest post about what happened.”
Us has reached out to Davies for comment on Kramer’s podcast.
Before marrying Allan Russell in July 2024, Kramer was married to ex NFL player Mike Caussin. While the pair tried to work through infidelity and discussed their ups and downs on “Whine Down,” Kramer filed for divorce in April 2021.

“I do have an ounce of respect for a man that can actually come and say, ‘I messed up,’” Kramer said on her podcast episode. “I feel like I could trust that person more.”
In Shay’s July cover story for Us, The Valley star also addressed her own past affair with a then-married Eddie Cibrian.
“It really felt like I got my karma,” Shay told Us. “Did I deserve for [Brock to cheat on me]? No, but I told myself that I did.”
Although Kramer doesn’t condone cheating in any form, she wasn’t sure if karma was the appropriate word for a difficult situation.
“I’m not one to jump on the bandwagon of internet people saying ‘Oh, well, she had an affair with the married man, so this is karma,’” Kramer shared. “Karma is something that I don’t like to play with.”
“I don’t think what he did was right,” she continued. “I don’t think what she did was right, and let’s fix that to not repeat the cycle of it happening again.”
