Jax Taylor is no longer involved with Jax’s Studio City.

After the 46-year-old took to his podcast to accuse The Valley cast of using him as a “scapegoat” amid season two, suggesting they did so in an effort to distract from their own behavior, Jax released a statement on his Instagram Story about the end of his partnership.

“I’ve made the decision to end my partnership with Jax’s. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it was the right one,” he explained to his fans and followers. “Right now, my focus is on my sobriety and mental health, and staying connected to my bar is no longer in line with the priorities I’ve set for myself and the life I’m working towards.”

Around the same time, Bravo and Cocktails on Instagram shared a photo of the exterior of Jax’s Studio City, saying, “The sign is down at Jax’s bar.”

Meanwhile, on his podcast, Jax reflected on the latest season of The Valley, targeting his co-stars on the July 24 episode of In the Mind of Jax Taylor.

“I know I’m not allowed to talk too much into it, but the season is over. So, you know, I wish I would have handled things a little differently. I just got a little frustrated on certain things because I felt like people were turning their heads on certain cast members and kind of focusing all on me. And I feel like certain past members were pulling the wool, I guess, pulled the wool over your eyes on certain things,” he alleged.

Jax, who announced his departure from the series earlier this month, stating that he would be focusing on his sobriety, mental health, and co-parenting son Cruz, 4, with estranged wife Brittany Cartwright, 36, went on to say that he became “frustrated” and “angry” during filming.

“I took it out on the wrong people, and I apologize for that,” he admitted. “I feel like sometimes they use me as a shield. They kind of, you know, and they use me as a scapegoat, you know, just put the blame on me sometimes for things that I can’t even control.”

“I should have just kind of kept my mouth shut and tucked my tail between my legs and walked away,” he added. “So again, I apologize to everybody who watched the show.”

The Valley season two reunion begins airing Tuesday, July 29, at 8/7.
