Jax Taylor addressed moving to a new place amid his divorce from Brittany Cartwright, and he responded to claims that he “blew it” as a husband and father. Meanwhile, a recent photo from his new home sparked rumors that he moved into co-star Tom Schwartz’s apartment building.

Earlier this year, Brittany filed for divorce amid their months-long separation. On the first season of The Valley, she said their fights led to the split. According to one report, she’s not interested in sharing custody of their son. During the separation, she moved into a rental as Jax apparently refused to leave the house.

“It will take some time for my new place to feel like a home,” wrote Jax in the caption of an Instagram photo from his new home. “But it will get there. One hour at a time, one day at a time.”

In the photo, a somber-looking Jax is presumably sitting on the patio or balcony of his new apartment building.

Meanwhile, Jax responded to a fan asking in the comments about what happened to his house.

“Brittany and my son,” he answered simply.

Another fan added, “Fix you first. You blew it as a husband and a father.”

Jax then defended himself: “I am a great father and will be a great Ex husband.. but yes you’re right – being a husband did not work out for me.”

After his social media post, a fan pointed out that the glass railing in his photo looked remarkably similar to the railing at Tom Schwartz’s building, according to a pic Tom posted on his Instagram Stories.

Viewers now are speculating that the men are living in the same building in the wake of their respective divorces.

Bravo Babe, the account that shared the two photos, said they “heard a little rumor.”

“I am guessing they either moved in together or in the same apt complex at least,” wrote a fan in the comments.

“This will become the divorced guys’ apt building,” said another.

“Maybe Schwartz took those somber pics of Jax too,” wrote a third.

“Probably [true] as it seems Schwartz is his only friend at the moment from the way the cast has been acting,” said a different user.
