Rapper Jeezy was issued a stern warning by a Georgia judge after he was found to have willfully disobeyed the terms of his divorce deal with ex Jeannie Mai, In Touch can exclusively report.

On April 28, a hearing was held where the judge found Jeezy, 47, had “willfully failed” to deliver the title of a 2021 Range Rover to Jeannie, 46, which he was required to do as part of their divorce settlement.

At the hearing, Jeannie’s lawyer informed the court that Jeezy had cured the issues raised in her petition for contempt. The only remaining issue that needed to be addressed was Jeezy’s demand for attorney fees from Jeannie.

The court said while Jeezy was found to have disobeyed the order, it did not grant attorney fees to Jeannie.

The judge also shut down Jeezy’s demand for attorney fees from Jeannie. The judge did warn Jeezy that any future failure to comply with the court’s order may result in sanctions, which he said could be in the form of incarceration.

As In Touch previously reported, Jeezy and Jeannie wed in 2021. They share a daughter named Monaco.

Jeezy filed for divorce from Jeannie in September 2023. He claimed the marriage was “irretrievably broken” with no hope for a reconciliation. The divorce was messy, with both parties accusing the other of bad behavior.

Eventually, they hashed out a settlement in June 2024 that covered child support, custody and the division of property.

A couple of months later, in September 2024, Jeannie filed a petition accusing Jeezy of contempt. She claimed he had breached the divorce settlement by failing to do a number of things.

She claimed the rapper failed to pay for certain daycare and school costs, did not reimburse her for four months’ rent totaling $92,000 and had yet to transfer the title to two cars, a 2021 Range Rover and a 2022 Ford Bronco, to her.

Jeezy slammed his ex’s petition for contempt. He claimed he had a hard time confirming the lease agreements that Jeannie provided his team were legitimate.

The rapper accused Jeannie of leaking her petition to the press in an effort to “embarrass, humiliate and disparage” him.

At one point, Jeezy’s lawyer called out Jeannie for filing the contempt case.

His lawyer added, “However, since the filing of this action, [Jeezy] has been forced to defend himself against frivolous claims and the intentional public attempt to dismantle [Jeezy’s] name, brand and reputation continued throughout this case. On the one hand, [Jeannie] wants as much money as possible from [Jeezy] to the penny, but on the other hand, [Jeannie] wants to destroy [Jeezy’s] ability to earn income by dismantling the public goodwill that [Jeezy] has built for decades before even meeting [Jeannie].”

Jeezy denied he was in violation of the deal. He said the DMV had been slow on transferring the titles and that one of the cars had been damaged by an “act of god.”

He argued he was not in contempt and asked the court to award him $19,839.81 to cover the legal fees he racked up defending himself.

As In Touch first reported, the drama between Jeezy and Jeannie ended with cops being called to his home earlier this year.

In bodycam footage, obtained by In Touch, Jeannie can be seen accusing Jeezy of refusing to allow her into his home to make sure she didn’t leave anything.

She claimed the court had given her permission, but his team disputed this interpretation of the order. The police told Jeannie she would have to resolve the matter in court.
