Reality TV personality Jen Affleck was left disheartened after her recent elimination from Dancing With The Stars. Widely recognized as a main figure in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Jen sought a new television venture by participating in the dance contest, notably just weeks following the birth of her third child.
Jen’s time on DWTS was a rollercoaster of emotions, yet she expressed her appreciation for the unique experience. Now, as she transitions to watching the show from home, she has revealed her support for a particular team in the competition.
Unsurprisingly, Jen is backing some of the season’s standout contenders, wilderness enthusiast Robert Irwin and his professional dance partner Witney Carson. Robert and Witney consistently lead the rankings, with the judges particularly admiring Robert’s dynamic performances.
Jen Wants Robert Irwin To Win The Season
It’s perhaps no surprise that Jen will be cheering for some of the season’s frontrunners, wilderness expert Robert Irwin and his dance pro partner Witney Carson. Robert and Witney are consistently at the top of the pack, and the judges especially seem to love Robert’s energy while he performs.
Jen shared her thoughts with fans this past week during a live TikTok session, where she opened up about who she’s still happy to see in the competition:
We love Andy [Richter] and Robert [Irwin]. Honestly, I’ve said since Day 1, ‘I’m on the show, and I’m voting for Robert.’ He just has an amazing story.
When Jen didn’t say that she’d be rooting for her fellow MomTok member Whitney Leavitt, fans wondered if there might be unspoken beef between them, but Jen didn’t elaborate on the topic.
Jen Posted An Emotional Tribute To Her Time On DWTS
After Jen and her partner Jan Ravnik were eliminated during Halloween Week, she took to her personal Instagram page to post about how meaningful her time in the competition had been. She posted a video of herself and her two elder children dancing in a rehearsal room, and she added a touching caption to her post:
‘Don’t cry because it’s over; smile because it happened.’ My heart hurts knowing this chapter ends and I won’t be on stage Tuesday night, but I’m endlessly grateful for the ride and for showing my kids what their mom can do. 🤍
Her husband, Zac, added a supportive note in the comments. “Never been more proud of you! Grateful to be your husband and that I got to be part of this journey with you. You inspired so many people and gave it your entire heart. I love you and can’t wait to see what’s next,” he wrote.
Though Jen’s elimination from the show came as a bit of a surprise, it seems like it hasn’t deterred her from similar experiences in the future. She noted that she would be open to other forms of entertainment opportunities, such as acting or doing music, though for the time being she was looking forward to returning to her regular life and spending time with her family.
Until then, Season 34 of Dancing With The Stars continues, and, a little further down the line, fans will also have Season 3 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives to look forward to.
